I can't believe the negative comments below! This is a great upbeat song, it fits nicely into a broad spectrum of musical tastes. The dancers and backing add an element of culture as do the violin and flute. It's about representing a nation on an international stage. Very catchy, enjoyable tune and something I can listen to again and again!!

I agree with Conor Brown in a lot of what he said. I think Kasey is absolutely stunning and her voice is gorgeous. Kasey is young and I think a short modern Celtic dress with green chauffon material down the side would be amazing on her. The formal dress with the train restricts her movement even if when she's singing , by having a short dress she can interact more. Her personality comes across fantastically tbh. As regards the dancers I think their both great dancers and stunning both of them. At the end of the day this is about being proud of your nationality. Irish or not or whether you like it or not Irish dancing is our heritage. It isn't outdated their is a lot of modern steps and movement to Irish dancing. Personally I'm proud that we are taking advantage of this fact. But.. I wouldn't have them dance so much I think some of it distracts from Kasey and she is the lead, this is where things are crucial because I hope that when Kasey gets on that stage she is TOTALLY comfortable with everything around her as in, she is the one who should have a say in all of this, in colloboration with others. Love the idea of the lights dimmed setting a mood even before she reaches the stage and a dramatic entrance. Building and building all the time but consistent throughout. For me I think a male fiddler would be amazing as when the fiddler has the solo. he could approach Kasey and play towards her and as he retreats she can sing to him creating an interaction and drawing peoples attention on camera. The fiddler at the moment is amazing don't get me wrong at all. Just more raw fire!! Personally. I love Kasey voice and I really think this could do soooo soooo well, if rte really get behind this. They have nothing to lose and they say the country has no money its their we just wont spend it. My comments are purely constructive. Finally, I want to say Kasey LOVE you, love the song, love the Irishness xxxxx Keep doing what your doing, I have no doubt that when this song and you get to that stage, Ill be like "Please you be trippin', WHATEVER"!! Loads of work needs to be done on staging and performance for this song and there's no hiding from that fact. If I had input into the staging for Copenhagen this is what I'd do.... a) Totally new look... Needs to suit the song.... She should wear a modern Celtic styled dress. Something thats a little different and something that'll stand out. Not what a 18 year old would wear to her formal/debs. . b) Get rid of the Irish dancers (cliché) and make Kasey sell her song more.... move about the stage... if there is a satellite stage in Copenhagen I'd get her to start in the satellite with the lights in the stadium completely turned down and have Kasey completely exposed... then as the song progresses build in the performance aspect. c) Kasey needs to work a little on her vocals but i think she would gain a lot more confidence if she had some better backing singers!! Is it that hard to find a couple of backing singers who can sing and harmonize and dance all at the same time? Something makes me think it probably isn't. d) Maybe two backing singers and then there should be three traditional elements on stage in my opinion... Where is Can Linn?? We should be able to see the Irish influence more prominently... Get a new Fiddler one that's a lot more charismatic and passionate. The main thing is that this song has huge potential.... more than likely its just going to be thrown on stage with a couple of backing dancers and singers and everyone in Europe is going to forget about it. Then the next day we'll all complain about block voting and how unfair the system is. I just hope maybe someone will see this comment and take maybe a few pointers from it.

Good performance and congrats on your opportunity to represent Ireland. Just as I feared the dancing is taking from the performance ....also judging by previous winners it would be nice to see the leas singer interact with the backing singers and violinist. ..bring out the violinst and put on a damn good show. In short....more interaction, more energy, work on the dancing , study previous winners and Ireland could do well.
