Great post! I love you folks. Please keep it going. I watch all your content. I hope to see more posts when the weather gets better. You have had some real heavy rain down there. The creeks will be flooded but that may help flush more points out for 2024. I wish you all the BEST!

Thanks. That's what we're hoping for, washing more artifacts into the creeks!

San Patrices! That's an old site. Imagine those guys living there 8,9,10,000 years ago! What they were doing. What they were like. There were still mega fauna living around there then. What a life that must have been. Congratulations on some fine points.

Thanks. Yeah, that site looks like it was occupied off and on for a long long time.

--- just found your channel and subbed - loved the pic of the honeysuckle azalea in the lead and the guy picking up that banded water snake: those things are meaner than a blue crab and more vicious than a fire ant - rather have a moccasin fall in the boat than one of those grew up in Hattiesburg and spent lots of time when a kid in the country outside of Petal - there was a field there that had a large rock ( had to weigh several hundred pounds ) and the area around it was littered with layers of flint shards and flakes - broken and discarded points were everywhere. It was obviously an encampment where they had knapped points for years and years and years.

I watch these videos and think how jealous I am that I don’t have a group of friends to go dig up artifacts with! Im just a loaner on the riverbanks.

At one time all of us hunted alone too. We just all sort of came together. Hopefully you'll find the same.
@shooterx969011 ай бұрын
So, did the ancestral natives just leave arrow heads by the millions scattered all over the place? Seemingly you can go out, dig a hole and find artifacts. Seems incredible. Enjoy the videos.
@HeartbreakerRelics11 ай бұрын
Thanks and to answer your question, yes, sort of! They left them everywhere they camped or lived. The better a spot was for habitation the more it was used, not necessarily consecutively but consistently. There may have been years, decades or even centuries between occupations but someone would eventually come back.

❤ Loved this again ! I could use some help telling me what I've found here in Maine on my beach . Any ideas ? .... Anyone ?
