That was such a wonderful video Mr. Heretic, the editing is pretty awesome and you did a good job with the effects. It's so crazy to see those cards in action, love the effect of leapfrogger and Dr. Boombox, I didn't know pogo-hopper, arcane cannon or stormscale siren were a thing.

hi enjoy your videos! As a casual bg gamer (only been playing a few months) I did enjoy hearing about the history of BG cards and their meta. I genuinely would love to know in depth some of the older cards/metas and maybe some surprising things someone who hasn’t played as long would expect. Most people probably play the game so rehashing some of the current cards may not be too relevant. The graphics were a nice touch (found the wavy one outside the card border a little distracting). I feel like going in depth into bg history could be a cool niche. I watched an older rdu video of him playing nomi and it was interesting to see.

Hey Heretic, love the videos, love the graphics, keep doing them! I am an FX artist and just wanted to tell you to instead of having the effect under the card, layer it over with a different blending method(play with them, see which once u like more) and tun down the opacity. Shoud work nicer! Any way, thank u for your videos and keep making cool fx =)

Played Hearthstone since 2015 and loved Battlegrounds since it came out--I had a brief few months when I took a break and I feel like I should be thankful that this is the first I'm hearing of Stormscale Siren o_O

Stormscale was kind of nutty. Any lobby Naga were in you would have 6 people play Naga, and the top 4 were almost ALWAYS Naga players. I had this stupid moment where I said I am not going to play Naga because they are too strong.... Pride was not helping my MMR that meta.

hey, Heretic. I've been lurking on your channel for awhile, but I appreciate it a lot. I'm a giant noob in BGs but lately I've been having a lot of fun with it (at 5k MMR ^^). I'm very slow and APM strats are just not an option for me (even with a straightforward build it's not rare for me to lose the game with like 4-5 cards in my hand I didn't have time to play ^^). I'm fine with it, anyway. I'm still mostly a wild HS player, and I play BGs to have fun and relax without caring about being competitive. I've watched other BGs content I've liked, especially Jeef as what he's playing and experiencing might as well be a different game. But your inclusive approach addressing anyone from beginners to intermediate regular players actually teaches me things I can use in my own games sometimes. I like your enthusiasm and how you present things too. Please keep up the great work! PS: The animations around most cards look fine to me, but I have to say the one on Soul Juggler is a bit hard to look at for me. I mean this literally, as I have migraines that can be triggered by bright or blinking lights. I can't imagine this one would feel great for someone with epilepsy either. If you had the same effect but moving slower around the card, it would prevent the issue (at least for me). I appreciate the effort, anyhow.

I will keep definitely keep the animation ideas in mind for migraine types as I myself suffer from them, but in my case the trigger is bright intense flashes while I am in the dark. I will in the very least slow things down!

I never avidly played BG when it was released it was more of a once a week type thing but man do I remember teragosa dragon and the soul juggler IMP MAMA crazy Remember cobalt guardian? Very fun card to play against Gentle megasaur making your whole board poisonous 😂😂

i remember for like a year of playing i didnt understand what nomi did i was like why are people playing that 4/4 that doesnt do anything. i didnt understand the card until i watched a streamer, same thing for the one dragon that kept enchantments i read it and was like what? not interested

In my opinion, an effect for Soul juggler is too much, for leapfrogger - sometimes waves are too big. Other looks good

Great vid and content. Changes are nice, but really doesnt matter, just as long as you enjoy it. Your content is about you and your knowledge and its excellent. So unles you change into a hot anime girl, its all good. Keep doing what you are doing and enjoy it and he proud. Your channel is amazing
