i'm loving these hunter videos! so much better than all the other content other pro players are putting out right now. Everyone else is trying to do either Druid or anti Druid decks. Having Kibler just do his own thing with deathstalker rexxar is such a fresh breath of air to the community imo

Lizarius I don't really get why. combo druid was a thing then. and almost everyone etched around it with loatheb. you had to be able to beat force of nature roar or you just lost every 2nd game. druid of druid stone is back, it's just a little more early mid late game heavy nowadays. you know how you make a aggro jade deck with the option to go midrange or control or super heavy I can't even fatigue while i am making 15 15s control?

Ben Dover it's less about the Druid part of the statement and more about the hunter. Face hunter was one of the main things I heard about back then, and everyone hated it a loooooot. That's all I meant.

Lizarius tbh it never was as bad as pirate warrior, and combo druid was much much more aids with ancient of lore drawing 2 cards etc. they just barely ran out of steam. so basically the meta was freeze mage control warrior hand lock combo druid and hunter.

I seriously underestimated build a beast when I first saw it, but you can just crank out SO much value. You can find some pretty absurd combos too, I'm a big fan any time they let you build a giant dispatch kodo.

I opened a Golden one ! First Golden legendary I ever had. Value is incredible it only builds golden beasts. And yes, it's super fun to play. Doesn't matter if it's not the best deck it's just fun to play.

While it may not be the most widely used, it's super fun (especially building all the beasts), it wins, and certainly has been my deck of choice to climb ladder with so far.

What I love so much in this expansion is that all the death knights are reasonably good to top quality, there is not as big a split between good and bad as with the quests

I played an Elemental based Frost Lich deck against my friend's N Zoth Deathstalker deck. We basically went all the way to the Hero power grind fest, we each had at most 6 cards in our deck. I ended up winning, I was probably going to get out valued by Build a Beast, but the difference was that I was constantly healing to full, while I still kept enough tempo to damage my opponent, who had no healing. Eventually I burned him out with Flame Geyser and Blizzard to kill his taunt and ping for face.

Mid-range hunter is quickly becoming my favourite deck for this meta, I really think the Warlock DK is far better, but DK Rexxar just looks so damn fun.

Why does the zombeast 8-4 at 4:46 is still froze ? He froze it last turn why the next turn is he still.

"Being frozen" means "missing the next attack". Since he got frozen while attacking the minion stays frozen the whole next turn.

Except that the deck runs 2 Raptors at 3/2 which are better stated, and two kindly grandmothers which survive board clear, AND 2 hyenas. That is a huge number of two drops, sure you cannot play the Hyenas on turn two usually but unless every other game is against a pirate warrior you shouldn't be running two tech cards against them.

At 6:08 he has a stealth taunt. That shouldn't be possible I've seen a taunt or stealth try to become the and stay the same and the game doesn't allow it

ShootMeLaterBro It's actually possible to have both stealth and taunt on the same minion. But the stealth overrides the taunt, i.e., the taunt is effectively "silenced" as long as the minion is in stealth. Once stealth is broken, the taunt becomes active.
