Maybe it was mistake to think it would still have Stealth after it dealt damage but picking the 4/2 instead of the 4/1 made it so it wasn't guaranteed dead from Dragon Fire Potion. If that was the scenario, the opponent would then have to use their hero power into the potion, thus wasting more mana/resources to kill said beast.

It's way better than ponder, three cards in HS is worth like 7 cards in MTG (Because you don't get useless lands and your deck is way smaller, so you're more likely to find whatever you're looking for)

Look at the top three cards of your library, then put them back in any order. You may shuffle your library. Draw a card. Ponder is better since you can keep those top 3, or if there's no good ones you can shuffle, but card selection is very helpful, especially in HS over MtG.

honestly the decks I play tracking in I only really care about 1-3 cards at most in the long term. Things like Deathstalker rexxar who has the build a beast which could easily make up for any savannah highmanes I may discard.

tracking is like shadow visions, it's not a good play on curve but it's a super powerful effect when you need it. and it's even better because unlike shadow visions it can draw minions. when you need a really powerful reactive play like dragonfire potion or sw death, then shadow visions is a really good card to have. but when you need some serious gas in the late game and can't use all your mana otherwise, tracking is really good.

Tracking really has some great versatility for fishing out cards from your deck that you want, it's just Hunter right now. A few more Control tools and they'll be back in power.

6:25 With 6 mana leftover after thoughtsteal, what 2 card combination could the priest have possibly have drawn that was worse than simply using obliterate? Any minion from Kibler's deck that is played would have attacked into King Dread. Thus, the priest wouldn't have had to play into god draw double kill command.

It kinda got glazed over since he won immediately after, but you should not prioritize stealth on a kodo or similar card. Stealth is removed as soon as the minion deals damage, and kodo's battlecry counts. It's kinda like poison: anywhere poisonous procs, you would also lose stealth.

i was watching a hearthstone player trying to defeat the lich king with hunter. he had alleycats and scavenging hyenas in the deck, along with more beasts and spells including 1 quickshot. he was trying for like 1 hour, than i wrote him to change the quick shot to penguin because penguin is an OP card. he changed it and won the game. XD

I went from rank 11 all the way to rank 6 with hunter 0 losses. I was on the last game before ranks 5 and lost to big priest high rolls and not playing around shadoword horror feelsbad man. I was amazed though, I went some thing like 11-1

For those that are still confused by Tracking's usefulness, notice he didn't keep it in his opening hand. Unless you're just trying to draw your deck as fast as possible and draw your combo, cards like Tracking or even arcane intellect are better late game than early. In the case of Tracking, it can serve as a 3rd or 4th copy of any other card from your deck. So late game, Tracking is NEVER a dead card, can draw you exactly what you need, and throw away two cards you DON'T need. Like Kibler said, if it was in any other class it would be absolutely bonkers.

When i started playing hearthstone, i used to say tracking is the worst card: it draws me 1 card and discard 2 cards which leave me to fast fatigue. But i was so wrong

I feel like Magic players evaluate Tracking much more highly than players who don't also play Magic/have roots in Magic. Tracking would be pretty nuts in Magic, but that's also because there's graveyard recursion in that game. Tracking is still an insane card in Hearthstone, it's just in a class that can't take advantage of it's full potential which prevents it from being busted. Sure it can feel bad to pitch two good cards but you have to live with that. It doesn't make the card bad just because sometimes you get screwed by it.

One of the reasons people misunderstand Tracking is because they think it's a one-drop. It's not. Even in the glory days of 8-mana Call of the Wild Midrange Hunter, where Tracking was commonly played, the correct play is to throw Tracking back in the mulligan phase. It's a tool to search for plays later in the game, not to be played on turn 1.

Good games, but yet again the issue with never uploading losses is that I was really invested in the struggle of the first game... then realized this was a Kibler video and that everything was miraculously going to turn out just fine in the end. Suddenly all the tension just vanished. It sure looked like he was losing, yet I knew that was somehow never an option. It's just not as compelling, y'know?

Tracking is amazing! The problem is that Hearthstone decks are so small...Which makes Tutoprcards infenitely less important. NExt to that are we at a powerlevel were most decks barely have cards they want to miss.
