Velen's Chosen on a Venture Co. Mercenary has to be a misplay. The venture co. is meant for burst damage or big guy removal. If you keep it alive for 5 turns, while you are under pressure by small guys and the enemy has cards in hand. Every turn you have it on the board, you effectively play at a 3 mana deficit when low on spells.

I feel like the better choices would be to take a mind control and choose the shrinkmeister over yeti, given that he has two SWP he can combo and kill any 4 or 5 attack minion. I have only gone 7+ wins with priest a few times and everyone I've had shrinkmeister pain/cabal combos.

How does lightbomb work? For example at 14:58. The cards says does damage to each minion equal to it's attack. So each minion basically attacks itself right? then why are the damages delt higher than their attack?

TheLKStar It's not just that he didn't race the guy with his 9/7, he also didn't death the Madder Bomber that turn instead choosing to heal, and of course he's keeping a Venture Co. on the field, which makes it almost impossible for Trump to play anything to help contest the board. I was really baffled by that choice to use the 9 attack minion for board control when all the other guy has is 1/1s and an Impmaster. Especially on the second turn where the priest obviously didn't have a way to get rid of a 9/9.

Việt Dũng Nguyễn incorrect, lightbomb would have killed everything except the crocodile due to the spellpower, so doing so would only have dealt 4 dmg to face and left the enemy with a 4/4 nerubian on the field with trump only having a 4/2 crocodile

22:10 - Strict mistake by trump, should've hit the 2/4 with the 2/3, as it gets healed by holy nova and leaves the dark cultist on the board as a 4/4, also, he was 1 damage off lethal which he could've had next turn if he hadnt missed the 1 damage.

I know piloted shredder is an auto pick every time [for me anyway] but you really should have picked force tank max instead this time. Correct me if you disagree , but I really find that in arena i is best to have a lot of "tech/situational" cards, like silences power word shields, smites, pains deaths , etc. Even more so then minion quality, minion quality is definitely important, but I find it much less of a game winner then having OPTIONS, in my hand. Options are what get a deck to 12 wins imo, you could have the most solid minions every tier of play from 1 mana on, and still not have a good enough deck for 12 wins, it's the options that take you all the way home imo! P.S does anyone who uses arena card evaluators/helpers know if it take the idea of options into account, or do they just have a value scale for each card, matched against a desired curve?

I was really confused when Trump applied the buff to the Venture Co. because that seemed really counter-productive. Venture Co. is not supposed to be long-lived because it keeps you from playing out your other minions. I could have understood the play if there were four or five spells in hand, but with two spells and four minions the play made no sense. Furthermore, using SWD on the Madder Bomber and taking out the Questing Adventurer with the unbuffed Venture Co. Would have left him with a 7/3 against a 1/4 and a 1/1. At that point the opponent is forced to waste resources removing the Venture Co. In all honesty it would have been in Trump's best interest for the Venture Co. to die so that he could play two of his 5- minions at one time. Even if the opponent couldn't remove a Venture Co., his opponent would have been hard-pressed to maintain pressure without a 5/4 to back up his zerg. As it was he ended up making the same play a turn too late. The nine points of damage were completely worthless against a board filled with 1/1s. The following turn he could have played an Exorcist, and the turn after that he could have used the Velen's on it instead. At the end he blamed the Madder Bomber RNG as the turning point, but I personally think that this misplay is what ultimately cost him the game.
