People keep saying that hunter is weak in arena right now, but, in my experience, that is far from the truth. With the lack of 2 drops in this exp, if you focus your deck (as much as possible) in early things, and damage, and use your hero power as much as possible, I would say hunter can take advantage of the situation and actually be favoured. Of course, you have to play in a different way, accept the smork into your life, and arena doesn't always allow you to do that, so yeah, not top tier, but definitely not as bad as people seem to suggest. I know I only have a small sample size to form an opinion, but from my 3 hunter arenas in gadget, 2 of them have been 10 and 11, while my usual number is a little over 5, so... I can't complain about hunter at all.

Caribbeanmax Ah! So I am not crazy, then. :p I don't watch Kripp, but last I heard, he is pretty good at arena, right? It makes sense, too. When decks try to get too cute, with hand buffs, and getting greedy with their board clears... extreme aggro always feasts on them. Also, that zipgunner gnoll guy is like... stupidly strong, especially if he buffs some charger. It is harder in arena, since you can't exactly control what you get but... yeah, I think hunter is not bad right now if played propperly.

Hunter is actually incredibly good in arena right now, though.. And it's totally not true that hunter didn't get much love in the Gadgetzan arena-wise. Hunter actually got more love than warlock, because cache is better than the silly +3 attack for 3 mana, and picking multiple copies of felfire potion and abyssal enforcer is not that good. (I had a pretty funny run with 4 blastcrystal potions, 3 enforcers, felfire potion and demonwrath)

i think in this case the curve was so low that by the point you get to play the golem you basically have already lost if they arent't dead or at least close to it

The idea of Wargolem would be to deal that last bit of damage when your opponent was just able to clear the board but still is low on health and doesn't have too much boardcontrol. I guess Core Rager stepped in and took that job, so it worked out for him.

His Quick Shot and Core Rager would become a lot worse. Triggering their last card in hand effects is difficult if you need to play a 7 mana card first.
