MoDRun It's not super hard to pull it off, all you need it zoolock opponent (there are plenty out there) and force him to play Mal'Ganis while you have Faceless Manipulator and Master of Disguise in hand, and since they usually run no board clears it's game over for them.

Naedox sure there is... it depends on the matchup and and your win condition in this matchup... if you are up against a druid dont hesitate to play turn 3 frothing! i would prefer drawing a turn 4 swipe or wrath+ hp anytime over a shreder or even turn 4 shade. you just give them something to do till you draw your "everyone-combo" (which doesnt have to have charge) on the other hand if you are up against a handlock you use your patrons rather lightly, cause you will most likely (and this rather rarely) win with a frothing combo. or if you play against a priest you can use 1 (!) patron combo to clear the board. it will (most likely) not stick against a priest. so you have to not let the game out of control till you otk them (from 30).

The biggest problem is that the animations take way too long. Even if you do the math in advance, you can run out of time before finishing the turn. Or the opponents concedes after the sixth "Everyone, get in here!". :D

Before Grim Patron came out, my main Deck was an aggressive Deck making use of Cruel Taskmaster, Frothing, Raging Worgens, Commanding Shouts, and Weapons, and it did fairly well with early Frothing value and such, but I felt the Deck needed Brawl because sometimes it was hard to deal with the board. My question is this, is it possible to have an Aggro Patron type Deck that doesn't necessarily focus on controlling/stalling until the "Combo Finish" and instead rather just try to gain value from all its Cards?

I have played patron for some time (aprox 40 matches with 55% win rate) and I always value the card draw as one of the most important things of the decks, I would've kept the gnomish inventor in the second game for example. Is that bad?

Adriano Luiz Oliveira I agree. Card draw is vital. Two great ways to beat Patron Warrior is to silence/destroy Acolytes so they don't get card draw, and to destroy their Death's Bite so they can't trigger it manually as part of a combo. And, of course, you need to never over-extend on board.

Charlie McGuire Because Taskmaster fullfills two functions: 1. Activator for the Patrons (in some cases for other cards like Aco of Pain too) 2. It's an counter for enemy minions with one health (like Clockwork Gnome or to finish minions which have only one health left) When you think your deck have enough other cards to fullfill these functions (like for example Unstable Ghoul) you can cut one or even two Taskmasters. (At the moment I play only one Taskmaster in my Patron deck after adding a second Ghoul.)

has anyone else done patron - bouncing blade? I've done this combo 3 times out of like the 5 games I've run the deck, and it fills the board each time. However I have not had enough experience running this combo to see if it is actually viable. Say you play death's bite turn 4. You attack with it to set up your deathrattle. then turn 5 you coin into thaurissan. The discount makes it possible, even if your thaurissan is killed the first turn it is present, to play patron, swing your death's bite (doubling your patrons), and play bouncing blade which basically fills your board from two patrons.

Jai Jhurry He started to move to attack with his minions after the rope was halfway through, but the opponent had already hit concede and he could no longer select them. He definitely waited too long, though, and if you've watched him in tournaments, you've probably seen him miss damage due to roping at least a few times.

In the Warrior vs Warrior game on the turn before the end you floated 2 mana instead of playing Armorsmith which would've been another minion for Frothing to build off of even when attacked by the gnomish inventor. My thoughts on Grim Patron warrior haven't changed a bit since I first saw it. Gimmick deck. And after weeks of beating it fairly consistently, I also discovered: Over-hyped. Why not just play an Inner Fire priest? You know, for the Gimmick.

Fred Fox People like Grim Patron because it's challenging and requires a lot of concentration and strategy to pull off the combos and math out the necessary damage for lethal. It's a high skill deck, which can feel more rewarding to play.
