I love flying geese. I became comfortable doing them working on one of your patterns. Can't remember remember which one but I did do FQS Mystery Quilt 3 years ago with Fig Tree fabrics. It had a crazy amount of flying geese.

All of that Red White & Blue is Gorgeous! I've made my two-week move from Florida (by way of West Virginia) to Michigan. What a climate Change!!!! YES Very Hot in Florida!!!!! I noticed it has rained quite a bit in WV this season. I always love finding a good pair of scissors :) I will be working on a couple of cuddle quilts over the next few weeks for grandchildren quilts. I'm hoping I can squeeze in your Pekoe quilt in between. I love LOVE applique quilts! Glad to Be Back with All of you Sweet Quilty Friends! I'll be checking out some of the FQS sew Alongs. Halloween is My Favorite!

I would love to participate in the new so long, but I have never appliquéd. I do not pre-wash or starch my fabric. I like the wrinkly look when you wash the quilts. But with appliqué do you need to wash or starch the fabric first? When you sew the pieces on and wash your quilt do the Pieces get wonky or is it just the beauty of the crinkly look?
