Hi I’m the developer of Empire. A division limiter will be in next update. The reason the ai can field so many divisions, is because bataljons actually take up way less manpower (because population has been reworked to realistic 1700s values). Anyways I’m glad to see you enjoy the mod and that these videos have been doing well. Love you man!

@@joegerhardusa9017 The focus tree, events, and research will eventually end so there is a 'soft' end date but I don't know if there is a hard end date like in Victoria 2 where the game just cuts you off at Jan 1, 1936.

i actually played this mod as sweden, same problem, the AI (of russia for example) fielded around 500 divisions for 1706, even with my light tanks (cavalry) i couldn't break the russian lines because they had a lot of org

I have played the mod as Brandenburg-Prussia, I had lots of fun playing it. Followed the Prussia route (German Unification), beat most of my opponents in border clashes except for one small province, threatened the Polish-Lithunian Commonwealth with Danzig or War and got my territories with no worries (they had a civil war while at war with Sweden), waiting my time to strike against Austria. France lost the Spanish Succession between the Grand Alliance and the Habsburg Faction (Spain and Austria). England asked to join me for which I accepted, attacked Hannover thus bringing Austria into the fold, called my allies against the Habsburgs. I defeated Austria, helped out with Spain and got some of the German territory from Austria and maybe a couple of their own territories except for Vienna. Called a meeting to federate the Germans, most accepted it except for five other states for which I have quashed their pestilence and unified Germany. I then attacked Denmark-Norway, bringing in Russia and P-L, it took my guess was two-three years to quash Russia and war is over, took some of D-N territory in Greenland and Iceland, also their mainland while I puppeted Copenhagen and made Norway my puppet and of course Kurkland while Britain took all of Russia. I do have Dahomey, California, Vancouver Island, and some island near Alaska. I am a chonky boi!!!

Your confusion arrives from mainly reinforce memeing, where your reserves aren't in combat by the time your active units lose all their org. This results in no divisions in the battle and a retreat.

it wasnt your division templates it was the fact all your divisions did not have 100% equipment. thats why they start losing fights.

His divisions had 0% reliability, meaning they would literally break down in a matter of seconds. A weak division could break that division due to the 0% reliability, and he ruined it by not having supply and not just that he was attritioned making it impossible to do anything.

Yes I LOVE THIS MOD. I’m so glad you played it I’ve not seen anyone else play it. It does have some inaccuracies I mean hoi4s “historical” AI doesn’t anyways so it’s ok. I mean for example Britain and the empire was unofficially but still a sub-state in 1603 as the unification of the crowns but I’ll let it pass as the modern Britain (until 1921 cuz south Ireland) was formed 1707

This looks like my run as German Empire in Rise of Nations in 1900 scenario. Every war was great war no matter that i had 1000 soft attack and 60 organisation. UK, Russia and France managed to get over 2000 div against my 250. They couldn't push, so damn I.

The problem with you winning against 4 to 1 odds in divisions is just because your divisions are able to shred thru the enemies divisions since they are much worse(they don’t tend to use 7/2 or 14/4 at all until more late into the game) but you losing when you have plenty of divisions left to fight is just because your reinforce rate is low which makes it so once just 2 divisions deorg then the battle ends then you need to deselect the deorg ones and then attack with the orged ones which can be just annoying

@@sneil7879 it's alt hist starting with the scenario that the soviets offer some divisions to help in case u do the civil war and that opens up a huge new focus tree all about reviving and realizing the idea of the großdeutscher bund, uniting all german speaking countries into one. It's great bc as said huge focus tree plus all the events, triggered by focuses or random, are just great so be sure to read all of it!

so I created a mod where every single nation including the major ones (USA, USSR, Germany, etc) have the default focus tree I gave the USA 4 million manpower that was a mistake they had at least 10 units in every state and don't ask me what happened when I gave USSR 10 million manpower
