I've played anarchist spain, and it is broke. At around 1940-1941, I had almost 10 million manpower because I was able to core half of Africa while still being at war with the allies (I did a MASSIVE push into Africa)

@@cra3757 Depends which faction. There's a lot of confusion because the Trotskyists and non Stalinist Marxists fought alongside the anarchists against the Republican crackdown. Also Marx is way more anarchistic in his actual writing than people seem to think, I rarely see the accusations of his statism backed up by very much. Cuck Philosophy has a good piece on that.

New HOI4 player here. I've started off with trying to do this campaign and I do great until the factional split. I can't seem to get my divisions to make breakthroughs or gain encirclements effectively as yours do in the video, they just get bogged down and end up in months of long battles :(

Played a multiplayer game earlier this summer and the anarchist ai spawned and won in a historical Mp game, there definitely was never any American weapon support to the anarchists at all ;) They won, beat Portugal, and when the German player was bogged down in France they attacked France and capitulated them. Most wild “historical” game I’ve ever been part of

I get to the point of "Masters of our own fate" and it splits my territory into tiny snippets across southern Spain and not Cataluna. Nationalists were almost gone so I don't have to worry about whether they get a Carlist uprising. Wish me luck.

I did this a week ago and did the Portugal uprising focus when I was nearly gonna win the civil war. Didn’t realise it put me at war with Portugal as well so was a bit stuffed for a bit since my troops had very few guns at that point but I still managed to pull off the win eventually

If you finish the first civil war before you do masters of our own fate, and then when the republican-anarchist civil war fires and (I think RNG based) you control both Madrid and Barcelona at the start, you can keep Barcelona as capital. Does it make a difference? Not really. But I just find it cool.

Having a factory on CAS makes a big difference in the civil war because it does direct damage to org, seems to avoid the 75% nerfs or at least it's min(val) still chips away org.

I have played as Fascist India for like 50 times. Before Man the Guns, there wasn't any civil war. Now you need to beat Pakistan and take Singapore quickly for resources. By about 1941-end, you can attack soviets after taking Iran. Since the last update, you can delay the attack on soviets to about early-1943(because allies are too aggressive with naval invasions). I use this time to get some medium Tanks and a bit of CAS. Then, rush to Leningrad(after Moscow) by the time Germans conquer kyiv.

I recommend getting FPS booster mods, they worked wonders for me. Personally, I like FPS Boost by Harvey mod, and The Spot Optimization mod. Tho keep in mind you can't get achievements if you have mods installed.

I wouldn't go for the last concessions to the left & rather go for reassigning disloyal leader, you are going to lose the strikes spirit anyway after the focus completes and having a 2 week general advantage seems better than 3 pp

That one division in the mountain with 1 supply was getting it from the victory point he was stood on. Also why did you exercise the starting army at the beginning? That just gave the nationalists more powerful divisions since you didn't get any of them. Personally when I go down the Anarchist path I like to use the gun stockpile at the beginning of the civil war to make as many of the default template as I can and use those to encircle the German and Italian volunteers and as many nationalist divisions as possible.

Hot tip: if you delay the starting focus till you get the event youll start w a bank of pp. Makes it easier to manage thou you will sacrifice a month or so of time

Best way is to secure as many provinces as possible, rush nationalist spain as fast as possible, and then start the anarchist civil war. Also, do the focuses that give you more weak divisions.
