Just to say alex the reunite the kingdoms focus is very overpowered as it isnt just the puppets that you released if you puppet people like romania and greece then reunite the kingdoms it annexes them but you gain cores on all their land im not sure if its been patched yet but its something you should try

One of the frustrating things in this game highlighted for me is just how the game handles Peace Conferences via War Participation, and thus, how War Participation is calculated. I mean realistically Yugoslavia there absolutely spanked the Axis inflicting more casualties and causing more harm to their war effort than anyone but the Soviet Union. And 0% War Participation. Because the game doesn't care about what impact you actually have in things like Casualties inflicted. Instead things like the AI deathstacking their units inside Greece, dying from Attrition and accomplishing nothing is getting them War Participation because they lost troops.... doing nothing but starving to death. -_- It's such a backwards system that frustrates me a bit too often in the game.

I think you can disunite, then do your own industrial focus, and then come back to unite the kingdom. Some factory focuses are bound to be completed by then.

In case anyone wants to try this, wait a little bit to annex all the puppets again. I would suggest waiting for them to do their industrial focuses me annexing them right before you join on WWII. You get a lot more factories that way

You could have actually exploited this. Before you annex your puppets, just make more puppets by conquering your neighbours and then choose the annexation focus. You will actually get the cores of all your former puppets, even those puppets which weren't part of Yugoslavia before. FeedbackGaming made a video on this.

This was an interesting one. First of all, focus branch he went down by makes no sense at all - but that's to be expected, Paradox have screwed up Yugoslavia content from the very first day. They could not even get the starting description right, and with a DLC they made even a bigger mess. But that out of the way, it is funny how Alex created the defense - it is based on the same principle as was suggested before the actual war - except that the "national redoubt" was including more the west, Bosnia, with the command center being on the border of Bosnia and Serbia. For you who want to see it, it still exists - an underground town, originally designed to house up to 5000 people with all the requirements for a protracted war, under a mountain, made in 1930's. But over time the plans changed (for the worse) and the idea was to defend the entire border of Yugoslavia of over 1000km. We all know how that ended up. Anyway, the underground base in Little Zvornik, a town on the border between Serbia and Bosnia, and can be visited by tourists.
