tbh i feel like with heartsteel thresh top will be even more viable than before. thresh's range is perfect for it since it isn't too long so it would be hard to start stacking it, but still has enough range that you can safely stack heartsteel. you also gain so much armor from passive that the fact that heartsteel only gives hp doesnt matter as much.

To answer the question from ~14 mins about Samira autos, no they don’t actually count as melee autos when you’re close enough to activate the melee animation, it becomes like a thresh auto actually, where it can’t be windwalled but it still counts as ranged. This kinda sucks for her, as with it she could reach 12 stacks on conq before starting her ult in her fast combos, and if it switched to counting her as a melee champ she would be able to have a bunch of other builds and items become viable on her. Also DD would go from pretty good to busted as hell on her lol

I saw something about having Domination as a secondary tree and taking Ingenious Hunter with it to shorten the cooldown of the Heartsteel proc from 30 seconds to 23 I believe. Awesome gameplay, love seeing Thresh top and look forward to the GP video

some of the suggested skill ups on champs are straight troll hearsteel kog is funny but i think you need guinsoos first? some things i've noticed with heartsteel while experimenting, it procs on illaoi spirits separately from the champion you pull from, you can proc it every single spirit even if it's the same spirit that was just pulled meaning hypothetically it could have like an 8 second cd, but i don't think you will actually get to proc it as often. also it works on clones and stuff so like in this game you could proc it on wukong, then proc it again on his clone just before it expires

My Thresh top usually goes tiamat, heartsteel, wit's end, guinsoo, then whatever else's needed at the time.

I used to play frostfire tempo support thresh but now it's not the the same at all. By the way why did you choose wit's over botrk? It's like the best antitank item and it also has lifesteal which is broken on tanks with tempo.

Try Heartsteel Grasp of the Undying mid. Short lane and melee assassins cant do anything to you as you free poke and scale. Titanic and Demonic Embrace for extra infinite scaling. From there, just full tank and you're a late game monster.

i think you really need to go tiamat early as mythics don't have sunfire effect anymore. titanic into wits end into jackchow or verdant virtue which gives a good 10% max hp + 2 % regen on aoe. and do not need to be bought early to scale. or just titanic into heartsteel as it scales better as the game goes on anyways. but then you delay your wits end so you should concidder berserks or mercury to get some as or mr early

The sooner you have heartsteel, the sooner you start stacking it

@@OverHaul164 yes but to stack it you need to be able to fight. And you need to buy it too. If you are forced into a losing lane cause you get outsustained and perma pushed then you can't but it or when you end up buying it you can't stack it if you are in a losing senario. So buying a stronger early item to wave manage and trade better is a good idea. See in this game mundo didn't use his lead properly and even then tresh had 93 HP before he bought his Titanic. If he went Titanic first he would have cleared these minion waves and deny platings + turret gold and have some kill pressure. The most important isn't to stack asap but to stack faster than your opponent. Mundo could have split and win the game by himself draging 3 poeple top permanently to deal with his push. And then you keep the option to buy another mythic if you see that the game isn't going to last. Other mythic are better pre 20 mins except for some HP scaling champs, many games are decided by a lead you get before that.

ravenous and shojin being what they are and fiora existing just make the game not a tank meta. poeple are playing tanks a lot leading to tank to tank matchup where they scale in longer games but if the tanks are strong anti tanks are meta.
