I never consciously connected Bad Buddy to Heartstopper but now I really do see it 😂 - that would kinda explain why I have such a soft spot for Heartstopper. I LOVE it when people freak out about Olivia Colman!! Bc they didn't put her on the cast list or announce that she was on the cast to surprise people when they watch it. I can't wait to see her in season 2 edit: Form is like advisory or homeroom and 6th form is year 12 and 13 which is 11th and 12th grade I believe correct me if I'm wrong edit 2: they have a small band make all of their just straight instrumental music like the drums and stuff which is really really cool.

I love this reaction! On the topic of you talking about ace representation, Charlie's sister Tori is canon asexual and on the aromantic spectrum. It was confirmed by Alice a year ago that Isaac is aroace, and season 2 will explore that for him! I'm so happy to get that representation with a character that I already related to a lot! It's very rare to find any positive representation for aroace characters, especially in mainstream media.

I had crushes on boys and girls in preschool. That’s how I knew I since I was little I was different, and something not to tell my parents because I knew I’d be in danger. I don’t get people who are like “you couldn’t know you were queer when you’re a child because you’re not sexual” and it’s like yeah, I wasn’t getting sexually aroused until high school and didn’t have sex until after high school. But my feelings/heart even as a kid knew the difference between a friend and a crush - without it being sexual at all. If you didn’t have crushes young, cool. But don’t invalidate those of us who did. Or try twist it I to something gross. In college I figured out I am non-binary (a new concept to me who grew up with limited access to media/internet) and also on the ace-spectrum. It’s a life-long journey and we need to stop invalidating each other’s experiences.
