Come for the infectious reaction to the music, stay for the in depth lyrical insight. Another awesome video. And what a banger of a song! (Also, one more annoying request for you to do "Dead and Gone" by Kemikalfire 😏)

4:33 "Got a brain like a hurricane Me and that bitch, no, we can't be friends And I don't even care, no" As someone who was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome and later BPD, I was often described as a child "possessed by the demon" in need of an exorcist, so the second verse hit too close to home. 🖤

Oli also has ADHD and wrote Avalanche (and other songs) about that also (maybe LosT as well x-x), so yeah D: And sorry you go through this also. We'll make it somehow and improve our life little by little, I hope

From tromboness: Thank you for sharing! That sounds difficult to have people describe you that way without knowing the real reasons you didn’t behave the way they expected you to. You must have felt like you were a problem to be fixed rather than a person to be loved. I hope with your diagnoses, you can find the resources you need and the acceptance you deserve to live the life you want. The HeartSupport community is here to love and accept you as you are. Hold Fast.

From Micro: I'm so sorry that people in your life treated you that way. What an awful thing to say to someone. It clearly displays ignorance on their end regarding the fact that BPD and Asperger's are not things you can just change radically. It would also convey this idea that something utterly wrong would be happening with you, which is of course so untrue. Saying things like this only increase the shame that someone may feel about being themselves. It makes feel this horrible inner division between who you are and who others expect you to be... All foundations set for a complete lack of acceptance. It must have hurt deeply to be described that way and reflected this idea that something would be wrong with you. I don't know who the people who said that were to you, but I'm sorry they even said it in the first place. Truth be told, you are absolutely valid and enough just as you are. Of course, any diagnosis - physical or emotional - can include its own challenges, and unfortunately as our society has lots of progress to make when it comes to making everyone feeling included and worthy. I hope you know that you being you is enough, and this world would never need any other version of you. You are loved and you matter, because you *are*. Everything else is secondary and should never interfere with the love given to you. Thank you for opening up about this today. It's so very important, and I truly hope that you don't let others voices be yours when they only meant to be hurtful and diminish yourself.

Love the fact you highlighted the stigma on negative emotions with men. Sadly it's very true & a large reason behind the sui¢ide rates. Sadly, I've read to many accounts of that being enforced on them that they check out altogether, so it makes me hapoy knoeing your male clients are being heard & not pidgeonholed (as well as your female clients too).

Im going into the psychology field and this song really screams religious trauma plus the issues you mentioned. Like if you listen to what oli says it seems like something youd think about yourself for losing your religion. It extremely hits hard because when you think of the lyrics of glassjaw and little uzi. Glasssjaw comes across as someone whos been through a ton of things and doesn’t seem to escape from it in their mind, while Uzi really comes across as just wanting space because pushing them only makes them hate themselves more. Its both a song about accepting the issues you struggle with and a call to religious trauma caused by a religious organization (ie: churches, synagogs and more) and almost like a parent who’s religion has shoved it down your throat and left you to deal with the issues it caused
