I cannot tell you how much I cried when she hesitates before running to catch up to BrightBill. In my personal opinion, I think that’s when she truly realizes just how much she loves him and how she can’t even tell him, after letting go 🥺😖

Oh I was in pieces 😢 and for me when all the animals made a truce, I cried more and when they banded together to stop the fire and the choice of having the order of motivation be "for the island! For Roz!" Bc in high stakes, you want the last thing you say be the thing that makes everyone give their all and get it done. And when she ripped out her power core i- 😭 this movie, man, I can't even think about it without getting emotional

Such a masterpiece. love how it isn't afraid to show nature as cruel as it is beautiful. Fink's character development is great, and the scene where Brightbill leaves on migration and Roz catches his feather makes me tear up every time.

Yeah, Pascal’s voice for Fink sounds very similar to Nick from Zootopia voiced by Jason Bateman that now, I can see the resemblance since he’s also a fox in that one. With Roz letting him go, it was so bittersweet that Brightbill didn’t understand her desire to raise him until she nearly lost her memories. Plus, with her reminiscing all the moments in his life while falling, it nearly brought me to tears when she claim that he’s all that she ever needs. 🥲

@@alejandrasanchez3022 Well, Dan was talking about Fink’s character growth and when you really think about it, Nick also has changed from someone who embraced the role that everyone assumed he excels because he is a fox to an individual who actually was able to make a huge difference. So, therefore, Nick and Fink are not so distant from one another.

I’ve seen The Wild Robot in theater twice. PS, when Brightbill rescues Roz from the evil robots and calls her mom, that made me tear up. That and the part where Roz announced that she’s leaving the forest.

I haven't cried at most films that are meant to make you cry. This was a rare exception. Roz reminded me a lot of Baymax aka the most likable character ever. Also, that robot villain had a bit too much attitude for something that's supposed to have no emotion lololz.

Eric, you being the very first to react this movie is everything. When your video showed up, I couldn’t help myself but to purchase the movie and watch it before this. From there, once again, I was going through the emotions how I did in the theater on the release day but this time, I can express my joy and sadness. Anyone can be feel it all but for those who are nature enthusiasts, such as myself, I was completely overwhelmed of how beautifully animated and told this story was. We’ve seen this trope about “a robot becoming more than they were created to” before but this one, it is very unique because the premise for it is so different. The one thing that it makes it stand out is Roz being stranded in the wilderness to turn into what she is. Ironic, isn’t? She became human after living among the animals. With that, she has became the best of all of us and truly cared for all creatures that she fought to protect. I will cherish this movie for the rest of my life.

I have a feeling they will continue this attack on our feelings by completing the book series and I for one will assist in attacking my emotions. This just proves that we need to be a village and help one another instead of tearing each other down for no reason.

I love that Fink and Roz are clearly co-parenting Brightbill and DON'T have any romance between them at all. I do like that trope, but (in my opinion) it's way too overused. I also like that Fink and Roz do still love each other like family, just not romantically. Family really does come in all shapes and sizes. ❤❤❤

Big Hero 6 isnt that great tho, the villain sucks and the characters are missing some development except the main guy. As for HTTYD, yeah that one is a trylogy masterpiece and i think this one beats it or is atleast equal imo

glad you mentioned about the voice actors, i agree so much, it was hard to pass by. but the score helped a lot. i actually got invested in the movie the first minutes in that had no voice yet, so i gave it a try, but yeah, you can see that is not their craft, sucks they went for names instead of pros also felt weird about the clearness of Roz voice, i feel it should have sounded like it comes out from a speaker, you know and i would've prefered they go harder on the art of the characters, less realistic less smooth designs, more like a childrens book

I loved the movie except the part where the villain robot tries to take her. I dont understand why they always make majority of robots evil, if they just followed their own logic then the villain robot wouldnt need to take rose, just copy her memories, maybe even make a deal and have rose stay wild while offering a copy of her memories and changed code for research every so often for a more prolonged study.

I think that the memories are the thing that "broke" Roz, made her wild so the villain robot doesn't let her keep those memories or she would go off-script again.

@@ABAO2009 That is still accepting that their robot is "imperfect". A Roz (I forget her name) can't harm other, but at the end of movie, Roz destroyed Vontra to protect Brightbill. That's not something a factory want their products to keep.

Having read both book 1 & 2 of Peter Brown's children's book trilogy The Wild Robot, the author subtly slipped in cautionary tale of global warming causing extreme weathers that resulted in the forest animals having to seek warmth at Roz-built shelters and causing havoc for Bright Bill's migratory travels with the gaggle of geese. In the animation, we witnessed the rising ocean levels affecting human population too.
