Heat Friendly vs. Synthetic Fibers | Chiquel Wigs

When women are new to wigs, they often have no idea about all of the decisions that they have to make in regards to what type of wig they want. Do they want a hand tied cap or open wefted cap? Monofilament top or permatease top? Lace front or hard front? OR are they hoping for plain synthetic or heat friendly synthetic fibres!? That is where this video comes in! I am going to tell you the ins and outs of these 2 types of synthetic fibres!

I wish I had found your wonderful channel and store much sooner as I had a lovely topper that kept going frizzy on the ends and I had no idea that heat could be used on it so instead I got my hairdresser to keep trimming off the frizzles at each hairdressing appointment. In the end it turned out too short. Oh well, we live and learn. Thank you for your very informative videos and your cuteness! 😊😄

Human hair all the way! I bought a RW style 4 x's 😢 same amount of money, I could have bought a hh... EW non-heat friendly is not bad especially like you said shorter lengths! IMO BT has the best hf fibers.

I love human hair wigs everywhere except in wet weather. You get caught in the rain in a human hair wig and you look like a complete weirdo. Your cap shows. You look like a drown rat that's wearing a wig. Even after it drys you still look obvious. It's frizzy and bedragled and the cap shows in the parts that are left in it. So for me there's a time and place for each type of wig. I walked my dog in the rain in a hf synthetic wig and my hair looked exactly the same as it did when I left the house lol Some ladies carry umbrellas while walking the dog but I don't like that. Or you can wear a plastic hat thing I guess lol but knowing me I'd forget I had it until I was already soaked. 😂

Hi, I’m new to all this, what does hand tied mean? I’ve also been seeing comments about bleached knots and pre-plucked wigs I don’t know what that means! And does it matter if it’s a 13 x 8 lace, or a 5 x 5 lace? so new to this and it’s so confusing I’ve already spent hundreds of dollars on things that are completely wrong! The wigs that I bought in the beginning have the knots in the part that looks so fake. I’m not sure what to do any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I have a probably silly question....🫣 But do people ever wear synthetic hair in an invisible bead weft with their natural hair for weeks at a time ? Also I have noticed there's different types? What is Bio Human Synthetic?
