yes. he had a cold which later was found out was pneumonia. he was taking prescription medication from a doctor for it, he couldn't sleep because of it and took a sleeping pill to help; the mix caused him to pass away accidentally. his father is now helping raise awareness on dangers of prescription medications.

Two weeks before he passed I was working in a supermarket in soho and he was all my line and I didn’t realize who he was and we were talking for like a good 10 maybe 15 minutes he was sweet and gave me a $20 tip because at the time I didn’t realize who he was until he told me at the end! To me at that time he didn’t wanna be realize as a famous actor but as a person because we were just talking about real life stuff like rent and family! Lol I remember he was naming all the movies that he was in but once he named 10 things I hate about you I was like ooh I know you lol. May his soul Rest In Peace!

Now, it's weird how we look at famous people. Just because they're in front of a camera most of their lives, doesn't mean they're no different from everyone else. I mean, they have financial issues and they have to do their "business". But, when someone famous dies, we look at them through a whole new lens. I certainly did when Michael Jackson died and I'm still doing it now with Heath. It's like we worship them; like they're gods. (Well, they technically are. They're living with God.) But let's be more serious now. I bet Heath is looking at me right now thinking "Why So Serious?" I first heard about Heath and his version of the Joker in 2009. I was him for Halloween that year. But with the arrival of Suicide Squad, I decided to look back at the Joker and try to get back into liking him. And it worked. The Joker is my obsession. Ledger's Joker is my favorite, and I don't really know why. I don't know if it's his great acting or that he's no longer walking in this soil. What ever it is, he is just so awesome. More like he was awesome. (Now I'm gonna quote "The Fault in our Stars".)
