Tavis Scott - There were similar fatalities (9 dead others injured) at the 2000 Pearl Jam concert in Denmark (European version of woodstock). The venue had taken place on the grass and by the time Pearl Jam took to the stage people were finding it difficult to stand because it had been raining, then a stampede ensued. The band knew nothing and an hour into the concert Eddie Vedder saw someone being pulled out of the crowd looking blue. Then the tour manager ran onto the stage and told Vedder that there was speculation that someone died. Vedder stopped the concert and told the crowd, "I will count to three and you will take three steps back." It was too late at that point however. You could then see Vedder's face on the jumbo tron and he was doubled over and crying. They did not resume the concert and the rest of the tour was canceled that summer. The Danish police blamed Pearl Jam and said they were morally responsible. Pearl Jam made a statement saying "they have never appealed to the crowd for violent behavior." The band was so remorsed for the loss that they discussed breaking up for good. History will show they didn't, however as a result they did implement more safety restrictions moving forward on all concert venues. The band also stayed in contact with family members of the deceased (as well as other injured) and donated the proceeds of that night's concert to them. They also dedicated a song to the victims in a forthcoming album. There were criminal investigations carried out resulting from the deaths-injuries, however no one was found at fault. I share this incident in great detail to illustrate the sharp contrast of how the two performers handled similar tragedies. Travis Scott reportedly knew there were safety concerns prior to the concert and previously faced prosecution for inciting riots at other venues. There are videos surfacing of him telling the crowd to say, "make the ground shake" as the ambulance is making its way through the concert. People were getting on the stage shouting for the concert to stop as well as others yelling out for help and fainting. Still Scott resumes the concert several times even after knowing someone has been hurt. The production company had to know what was happening yet no one approached him on stage to stop. There are several law suits being filed against Scott and concerts are being canceled. As time ensues I'm sure Scott will face more backlash and his reputation will be irretrievably destroyed. I hope this man goes into seclusion and reflects long and hard on what he has allowed and the lives that have been taken. I also pray that he will face the full prosection of the law and be sentenced accordingly.

Here's the thing. As someone who organized large live events for over a decade, I've been searching my brain all week & all I can come up with is that you would NEVER bring an emergency vehicle into a large crowd unless it's a last-resort, worst-case scenario situation. Normally to render aid you either remove a person/people from the crowd, or you put crowd-control measures into effect to disburse the crowd from the scene of the emergency. It's very strange that they were attempting to bring an ambulance through the crowd in that manner & anyone who's familiar with safety plans at a large event (any seasoned performer or crew member) should recognize that was highly unusual & an immediate cause for alarm. I'm shocked and sickened that no performer, manager, sound person, etc. pointed out the emergency lights slow-crawling through the crowd and said "wait a minute, why's that happening?"

I've gone to way too many large events and I've never seen an ambulance move through a crowd. I've seen EMTs/security/cops go through a crowd and people move out of the way for them. That's not what I saw here and it's astounding at the amount of conflicting reports that are surrounding this story.

It’s normal for people to need help(not life or death help) but she didn’t know and if I was in her shoes I would’ve assumed the same thing. She had Stormi and is 6 months pregnant. People got pushed into those inner corners and had no way out and Travis is also absolutely responsible. A portion of the crowd were so rowdy because that’s the way he’s taught his fan base to act and the environment he created. He’s the one with the mic that the crowd would listen to. Live nation is the reason for the barricades possibly even apple because that’s what the cameramen were recording for, Travis, and possibly NRG or the city. I’m not sure about that part. I just know Live Nation and Travis are for sure responsible. I just think it’s unfair to Kylie for Travis being [sh**] or Khloe. I do think Khloe should’ve wrote something like Kim did, but they just aren’t responsible. Let’s focus our attention on the right people and companies to get justice for these people✌️

I had a very similar experience to Heather. I was at a Silverchair concert ( when I was 14 yrs old), my friends wanted to get up close, we pushed our way up closer to the stage, I fell and literally thought I was going to get trampled, my friend pulled me up and I spent the rest of the show alone like in a corner somewhere. It sounds ridiculous and we joke that I almost died in a mosh pit at a Silverchair concert ( of all concerts) but it was terrifying. I’ve never been to another general admission concert since and I never will go.

Went to Woodstock 99. Got sucked down in the mosh pit when Nine Inch Nails started, a guy pulled me out. Very scary. Those poor people in Houston Somebody peed on my leg at least I think it was pee. Turned around and he was enjoying himself.

Travis would have known that this started at the entrance gates, people (looking all under 25 years old) knocked others over and trampling them also. That was before his concert started.
