Guns and roses actually got the idea from this band Heaven and this video. Unfortantly, due to poor record company marketing this version, and heaven, faded away and went un-noticed, axle knew this and cashed in on it a few years later. Saw them in concert on Long Island. They were worth every penny and more. I got to hang out with the band and get to know a little bit more about them because they did a meet and greet before the show at a record store. Heaven knocked it out of the ballpark with this rendition of knocking on heavens door
