For a while now I've seen video games as art rather than some toy on the market. Games like the legend of zelda: the Ocarina time really show what games have become. The characteristics and the emotion gone into games these days is just incredible. When you take that and place it in a beautifully looking game, that's when you've got a winner. Games should be in art galleries.

Even though i love beautiful and complex games, i understand his point about not being able to 'pick up and play' any more. It seems the games industry got itself into a big damn hurry and left the oldschool with no new content. Good luck to these guys because there's a lot of love out there for retro.

Art is seriously under appreciated as an art The music of Zelda, the gameplay of Ico/Shadow Of the Collosus, the imagery of Okami People who claim its not an art are the same people who claim other forms of music they don't enjoy, like rap for instance, aren't music. They're simply idiots who need learn that art is simply human creativity and expression put into form. This means drawing, this means music, this means video games
