All computers produce heat roughly equal to their power draw, this also holds true for data centers, where a significant fraction of total power consumption goes to cooling. By using liquid cooling to transport the heat away from the data centers and get rid of the excess heat by heating residential and metro areas in winter you can reduce waste by a significant amount, as well as increasing density in the data center. "Good" and "Evil" are dependent upon an agreement on beneficial outcomes.

The West has been ruining the world for millennia. We excel at it really. And the more you do something, the easier it becomes. So the key is to start doing good and doing good will become easier over time. You are what you do.

The tantalum canard is frequently repeated but the vast majority of it comes from Australia and Brazil. Same with most of the other minerals. Its a catchy issue, but you also want to look at the population displacement and environmental destruction caused by these minerals, especially gold, of which over ~78% goes to frivolous jewellery. Boycotting Congolese Tantalum is not going to solve the social and environmental problems caused by mining, nor solve the Congo war.

That Harvard study hasn't cleared up enogh what it means to "consider oneself an evil one". As we know, real criminals are not fictional villains who do some evil deeds because they enjoy being villains. Real bad guys always consider themselves to be good ones, maybe except for some out-and-out thugs.

@yoshikku It's just the lowest common denominator of human relations resorted to by people who are failures at developing otherwise interesting dialogue. I don't think that anyone deserves to be the recipient of such piggish comments, but one is certainly less inclined to feel sympathy for another who thrives on it. I disagree about Ms. Tran, as she changed a great deal to acquire her male dominated audience, and it was very deliberate.
