About the father figure part I just want to say that I had a wonderful father he made me feel worthy the way you described yours is the same mine is.. thing is growing up I was heavily bullied in schooo to the point that I knew going home I was valued but outside of my home I didn’t receive that so that affected me for a long time where I was seeking validation I would say I did grow up boy crazy but I’m glad the Lord protected me I never been in any relationship so I never actually had the chance to let a man mistreat me! Now I know my worth thanks to our Lord!

I feel like when it comes to cooking, cleaning and taking care of the kids.. it is not a gender role, Both Man and woman should be able to those (learn if you can't) but obviously one gender will often be doing more of those than the other. But both genders SHOULD know how to do so. especially when your other half is sick or unavailable you are able to help.
