Luke if you win the squat in the arnolds please do the kazmaier line "these are the strongest legs in the world!!" Form on the squat and leg press is immaculate, I really believe you can get a huge number, it's that psychological battle once you get into the big big numbers. Self belief 💪

Ray is a beast, but these guys have never done a max squat in competition, and this is also just a training session. Something similar in the reverse would be log press. Ray has actually trained the log quite a bit, but hasn’t had it in competition. His personal best is 168kg vs Luke’s 221kg

The difference between Dan wrapping Tom knee's and Tom wrapping them self is that Tom wraps from inside out and Dan from outside in. Its not the tightness of the wrap.. Tom pushen his knee's out wich is better thats why his wrap feels better.. you should always wrap from inside out

One thing that is NOT talked about on squats and deadlifts is what you're blood pressure is doing. Those were some smoooooooothe reps, those wraps look a pain in the ass , pity there wasnt a little ratchet style belt for the knees. That way you can always get the same tightness all the time. I dunno how Tom had the strength left to do any reps after that 315kg grinder. This is a real good insight into just what it takes to be where you guys are.

Tom sometimes doing it differently makes all the difference! I have to have things done a certain way too, its like an autistic safety net of sorts. Like i have this one special tea cup in the mornings I have to wash. Not to say that someone else couldn't wash it as well if not better, but its different when I do it. Thats kinda like what you where going through with your knee. When you get up with weights that high too psyching yourself out is a real thing. If you feel like someone else can do it then thats great, but if your feeling like you need to do it thats completely valid. Whatever gives you the peace of mind you need!
