You will never have this excitement but more people pretending today with a few hardcore fans really excited. Too much access to artist today so they are less mysterious, an the talent is scarce because too many distraction today and everyone can see what everyone is doing.

I just finished watching the BET awards 2023 celebrating hip-hop’s 50 years and I can’t believe they didn’t recognize Heavy D 😢.

of course not, hip hop is dead. And Kendrick Lamar and all them clowns are not hip hop. Theres no love, no unity only sales and money. I remember when Rappers...or rather MCs made whole tracks just paying homage to the Old School, Hip Hop itself and many Artists. (2pac did on Old School, LL Cool J did on Hip Hop, Naughty By Nature on another track I dont remember, theres a whole list to make). Not to mention...where is the pro black, where did all the political rap go? The industry doesnt want that. Tell me if I'm wrong cause I went backwards and I'm stuck in 80s, 90s and some 2000s shit. Fuck all of that Drake, Future and whateve garbage

This came out when I was 17. Heavy could hit those steps quick. Who knew that Trouble T would be gone a year or so later. And who would've thought that Heavy would be gone today? As I watch this performance, it reminds me to ENJOY life today and spread LOVE while you're still alive. Only LOVE can conquer hate. Thanks for the memories Heavy.

G wiz and Trouble T-Roy were the baddest fly ass dancers. There choreography was amazing. It's been said that G wiz was the stylist, if this is true his taste for fashion was fabulous. I use to love listening to hev but when there were live performances or videos G wiz and Trouble T-Roy had my attention. I just love to see what clothes and shoes they had on and see those fly ass dance moves. RIP HEAVY D and TROUBLE T-ROY
