Hello As heavy as this table is you need to add some safety catches on it. Just in cast one the hydraulic lines break the table would drop very quickly without warning. Very dangerous! Have great day!
@HolzFlo4 жыл бұрын
That's propably not a bad idea.. But the hydraulics are all made for much higher pressure, so there is already quite a big safty factor.. but you're still right. It's better to have than to need. ;)
@georgekoettel85534 жыл бұрын
Lines can alway break. Something fall over on them. Fix you working around cut touches, something sharp hits them. Plus oven time lines and seal deteriorate. I forgot one very important one. Someone accidental release the pressure while you got something under the table. It alway safer then sorry cause anything can happen Thank you and have a great day

It's a KBU 35 Q. It was not a new machine and unfortunately I got it only for this project so I had to send it back already.. I have no experience with other machines yet. @HolzFlo4
Do you mean safe guards to keep the legs (of the table) on track or to keep fingers out of track? :D
@aca192maric4 жыл бұрын
@@HolzFlo i mean to keep lags with bearings on top of the lags where they are rolling on ( sorry for my English )
@HolzFlo4 жыл бұрын
The plan was to add a square bare (10 by 10mm) in between the two bearings, if the play was big enough that they could fall down. But there is no play at all, I wasn't able to force them of the track. So I think there's no guidance needed. However, the gap between the bearings and the hight under the axis of the bearings are both 12mm so you could easily add a square bar of 10 by 10mm for guidance. This is better than guid fences at the sides as dust and dirt won't be caught, it can just fall of at the sides. :-)

@HolzFlo4 жыл бұрын
Danke!
@f.94854 жыл бұрын
@HolzFlo4 жыл бұрын
@f.94854 жыл бұрын
Hab dann linearmotoren eingebaut. Deswegen meine Frage. Aber top Arbeit trotzdem !

@n1352-m1i4 жыл бұрын
it seems to me that an hydraulic setup weighting so much should have a mechanical safety of some sort : just imagine the hydraulics losing pressure while there is a limb hanging in the structure, it would be irremediably crushed. Any car hoist have at least a spring loaded safety catch, this is holding only through hydraulic pressure...

Just a few comments to "lighten" the load (specially off of your table) First, You should have made it just 5/8" thick on the table top, unless you're planning to weld car frames or house foundations with it, I think you over did it with the 50mm thickness which to me seemed totally unnecessary. second; the welding process you're using is too costly *tig* when you could've used Mig or stick. Third, you're missing a railing system for the gliding wheels that slide along the bottom every time you lift the table and as heavy as it is, I don't know why you don't install one (two angle channels or a "C" channel to prevent the lower gliding wheels from start going off the base frame which eventually will wear off and bend. And last, working in such a small space, I don't know why you don't use breathing protective gear such as a respirator mask and filter. YOur Lungs won't last!! and finally, you should check out the newest and best welder in the world which can do 3 in 1 welding processes like mig, tig and stick, the Fronius TransSteel 2200 for less than $2,000 here in the USA (Indiana) from a company called shop welding supplies (www.shopweldingsupplies.com) Don't buy it with the Tig torch, too expensive. You can adapt your existing one to it and save $$ Last comment, Tig welding is not for materials thicker than 3/8" and in 4-7 months of welding, the cost of gas, rods and time adds up and with the savings you could buy that TransSteel 2200... just my opinion. Also, you could've made the holes of the sides ahead of time in the flat position and save yourself a lot of extra work. it's common sense not to work against gravity when you don't have to. Cheers, Peace.
@HolzFlo4 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for the explicitly comment. - The tabletop is 15mm thick, exactly what you recommend ;) - I do have planned a guid in between the bearings, just a 10 by 10mm square steel, but decide to leave it out, as the play is close to nothing, so they won't come of the track. If the load courses it to deform much it's already to much load. -My welder costs 600 bucks and does a decent Job for my needs. -Tig is just a personal preference, as I get the best results and it's nice and clean. - I open the Gate as often as possible, just for filming it's closed because of light. So the air is not always this bad ;)
