Looking sharp. Congratulations on the growth this year. Anxiously curious about what the specifications are on the Evolution trailer specifications so folks can compare the choices of length of rails, axle ratings (actual), de-rated GVWR, and what was the original GVWR, for the trailer specifications and any upgrades that could be in reference to other possible setups that folks may be shopping for in comparisons. This is a very good and specific non-CDL setup for the cause.

I’ll do a detailed video on it soon, but… It’s a dual 9k axle trailer (18k spec), derated to 16k. It runs a hydraulic reeving system for lift, and has 16’ rails.

@@MAXCODumpsters Thanks Joe, for the quick response. I was leaning that way for thoughts as your previous rig was set up somewhat similar to that as well, but I was unsure if it was 10k axles or 9k axles on this Evolution one compared to your previous setup. It also looked like; there was some of the rail length hanging out of the rear when loaded, and I had believed or thought your cans were already 16ft long. Just comparing setups for future actions. All good.. Great looking setup.
@MAXCODumpsters12 күн бұрын
@ a 16’ rail will typically be more like 16.5-17’. With that said, my 7-15 yard cans are all 14’, so you’ll see extra overhang on my smaller sizes.

Loving that new can.. that one reinforced? Or heavier steel than the others?
@MAXCODumpsters11 күн бұрын
Yes, thicker steel and 12” on center for the base.

Hope your ankle healed up soon. Where did you get your trailer and cans from?

Evolution Welding and Fabrication out of South Florida did my newest trailer and dumpsters. Thank you for the good wishes!

Thank alot just painted and installed my boards for my new dump trailer, but didn't lift then. So now I'm going to go get a couple carpenter pencils and re drill and lift them,

You're very welcome! Best of luck, and hope you stay busy and blessed in 2025!

pro tip for next time. use 1 1/2 lag screws and don't go all the way through to the inside of the can with the bolts. also I was very interested in some of those dumpsters but in this video it looks like their paint isn't great and some of the welds look questionable. what are your thoughts on those things? love the videos keep them coming
@MAXCODumpsters12 күн бұрын
Appreciate the support Chris. Paint and welds have been fine. You’ll have to check in on things in 6-12 months for me to form a real opinion. No complaints so far though.

Hope your leg is good, what was the weight on that first one?
@MAXCODumpsters12 күн бұрын
Ankles fine, but definitely a bit mad at me the last few days. 🤣 First one was right at about 4.5 tons. I’d say about 5ish yards of mostly cinder blocks.

Was the 7 yard good for concrete ? I seen people use 5 yards instead
@MAXCODumpsters12 күн бұрын
5 yard is certainly a safer number. For bigger concrete pieces you can hit 5 tons before you even hit the 5 yard marker, but because I do a fair amount of tile roofs down here 7 yard is a more versatile size for a bulk of the jobs I’d need them for. I always try and communicate my way through these jobs rather then dropping blindly and praying they don’t overload me. Some I’ll cap at the 4 yard marker.

IS that wood PT, or painted pine? I've been waiting 2 years for my DT sidewalls to dry out enough to paint them black, but that PT keeps seeping. They are also warping as they dry. I've been wondering if I wouldn't have been better using plain pine 2X12 and painting/staining them black.
@MAXCODumpsters12 күн бұрын
Just good ol plain pine. It has enough breathing room to not need to be PT.

I was enjoying the video but had to turn it off due to that annoying music!! And wind noise, low volume
