I’ve known FOR DECADES that’s not who this place is … in the late 70s My Mother gave My Brother an i a trip to Toronto by ourselves ( I had recently graduated from high school …. We stayed at the hotel Toronto one day while there we were going to that mall , about to cross the street … a car was passing by at the corner and some kid that was sitting in the backseat started yelling out the window calling us the ( N ) word that’s something that has stuck in my head every since… We as a family had returned to Canada several times after that and I don’t recall another experience like that but that one time was enough to let me know the perception of that place is not completely accurate …. As I read about stories of Black people traveling around the world I’m being lead to believe there HOSTILITY TOWARDS US IS EVERYWHERE and that includes AFRICA from other races go there to PILLAGE the resources and earn a living while treating there BLACK WORKERS SO FOUL and HATEFUL…. But it’s sad to see that the natural BLACK CITIZENS continue to have that warm welcoming spirit towards them OTHER FOLKS while there standard of living remains for the majority sub par
