Have a top sunday everyone Big Love Uknow :) .... bit of a weird one but im hoping the next trip after this will be into europe not too long maybe a week or two and im hoping to head down the west side of france towards the border with spain, something epic down there i want to check out but would love some suggestions on what to hit along the way if anyone has any :) oh and the 'waterfall' ... From what i heard from a local in tintagel the 'waterfall' used to be free until someone bought the area and made it what it is today ( could be wrong but tis what i was told ) but hey ho didnt take away from the beauty of cornwall and so chuffed ive managed to wild camp all along the way without hassle ive guess youve just got to find the right spots ... as always :)

Hi Adam, it's not just you with what you've experienced in Cornwall. The Cornish don't like us outsiders....they call us emmets (Cornish for ants!). They fleece the lot of us - £9 to see a sodding waterfall and to cross the new bridge in Tintagel is extortionate. The Castle is a hotel featured in quite a few episodes of Doc Martin. The building you could see across the way (you thought was a another castle) is Doylden (also featured in an episode of Doc Martin). Thing is you don't even get a smile from the locals who aren't backwards in coming forward to show how much they despise the emmets....but they'll take our money!! 🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜 After 4 visits to Cornwall in the last 8 years to watch the Doc Martin filming in Port Isaac I'll not be going back. They want Cornwall for the Cornish, they can keep it. I bet those fish and chips were way overpriced too. Still you've done Cornwall, it'll be out of your system....onto better places soon. Julie in Sheffield.....(drove round Peak District just yesterday, beautiful day. Parking at Stannage Edge was, as usual, rammed). 😊

Hi adam . As I said to you before 😂. Put wind deflectors on the front doors of your vehicles . So you open the windows a small bit it stops the rain coming in and stops the condensation in your vehicles. It’s truly a game changer 👍👍

But the little beach below has merlins cave, a cave that goes right under the castle and out of the other side. And best of all its free! Also if you head back to cornwall then drop me a message and I will point you at some decent spots to overnight that arent on pfn. Ive just come back yesterday as it happens. @@wanderingwhere You can go anywhere in the U.K & NOT have to pay if you are travelling through areas by LAW as stated here : United Nations Declaration After the end of hostilities in World War II, the United Nations was established on October 24, 1945. The new international organization recognized the importance of freedom of movement through documents such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (1966). Article 13 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the U.N. General Assembly, reads, Duration: 16 minutes and 4 seconds.16:04 The text of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. (1) Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each State. (2) Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country. Article 12 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights incorporates this right into treaty law: (1) Everyone lawfully within the territory of a State shall, within that territory, have the right to liberty of movement and freedom to choose his residence. (2) Everyone shall be free to leave any country, including his own. (3) The above-mentioned rights shall not be subject to any restrictions except those provided by law, are necessary to protect national security, public order, public health or morals or the rights and freedoms of others, and are consistent with the other rights recognized in the present Covenant. (4) No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of the right to enter his own country. The ICCPR entered into force for the initial ratifying states on 23 March 1976, and for additional states following their ratification. In 1999, the U.N. Human Rights Committee, which is charged with interpreting the treaty, issued its guidelines for Article 12 of the ICCPR in its "General Comment No. 27: Freedom of Movement".[9] While the treaty sets out the freedom of movement in broad and absolute terms, part four of Article 12 of the ICCPR admits that these freedoms may be restricted for a variety of reasons in the public interest. This clause is often cited to justify a wide variety of movement restrictions by almost every country that is party to it.[9]

Nudist beaches in the uk are just normal beaches that are mostly used by nudist so a sign then got put up. The uk doesn't actually have any official nudist beaches, the reason for that is because it's actually not against the law to be naked in public, so anyone wanting to sunbath naked or swim naked can do on any beach in the uk, technically people can walk naked down the street, though in that situation they would have a hard time convincing the police it's not for a sexual reason or to cause alarm or offence

Cornwall used to be really nice about 30 years ago. Then the London set got in and bought up everything in sight and now you can't go anywhere in Cornwall without having a hand at your car window wanting cash off you everywhere you stop! These days the Cornish people just want the tourist emmets to drive to the Tamar bridge border crossing and throw your tourist spending money in a big skip there then turn around and b***er off home!! It's a shame the way that Cornwall has turned out these days but I really don't see it improving anytime soon.
