Evil Knievel was my hero back in the 70s and when my dad got me a motocross bike at age 11, i jumped on my dad's tractor and built myself a ramp to jump my bike from, Problem was i dug down then up., and in the hole i dug for my said ramp is where my front wheel stayed and the rest of me and said bike went ass over first. Y'all for sure need some of the smaller airboats that are built with everything lower so that they have a lower center of gravity. They would be a blast on the snow. Airboats like the one you have and most others are built with the rigging and seats really high so when the operator is running through tall grass and stuff like the everglades, swamps, and southern lakes are full of they are sitting high enough to see over it. And some smaller hull airboats like they use for drag racing are built with everything sitting much lower so they're more stable due to the COG being lower. If I got an airboat for the snow I would want a fully decked over 14 to 16-footer. with an LS putting out around 650hp and 650lbf of torque. It would go just about anywhere you wanted with no problem. lol. I've never thought about it before right now, but they make hydraulic trim tabs for airboats, and it would be cool if you could somehow brace them well enough so that you could add something to the plate that would dig into the snow when you activated them and work like a brake. I know they wouldn't stop you on a dime, but they would help slow you down. Unless you went with something like them just a bit bigger so that they pushed something deeper and stronger into the snow.
