I've also heard claims of them being the original Chinese, original Greeks, and that Moses was also of this due to his marriage to an Ethiopian woman, therefore Jesus was also black, even though Moses was from Levy and Jesus was from Judah. If you look at Hebrew culture, u then understand verse 28:68 in Hebrew culture when a person is sold into slavery for dept etc to non Israelites their relatives or friends can buy their freedom by paying off their debtor ( lev 25:47-49 ) ( Nehe 5:1-8 ), Moses is describing the opposite of this in verse 28:68 he’s saying that the slavery to a non Israelite nation that you are going to be sold to your relatives would not be able to buy you out of it like how the law tells you that they are allowed to. And if you know African American history you would know that that’s one of the biggest complaints that they have against their west African brothers/sisters “why didn’t we come and save them from slavery?” Which literally fits what Moses described in verse 28:68 that no man would be able to.

"And the Lord will bring you back in ships to Egypt, a journey that I promised that you should never make again; and there you shall offer yourselves for sale TO YOUR ENEMIES as male and female slaves, but there will be no buyer.” This verse has nothing to do with redemption or family. Also, if the question really was, "Why didn't you come save us from slavery?" it was literally because they're the ones who sold them to the Portuguese, Spanish, Arabs and British rather than redeem them. On top of that, the transatlantic slave trade purchased their slaves from the west coast of Africa, not Egypt. Couple that with Josephus' account of them being sent to the mines and dying there, along with Deuteronomy stating they'd be delivered to Egypt in ships and wouldn't be sold/bought, I'd say it's pretty conclusive. EDIT: And the French. The French also bought African slaves from Africans.

@ okay ima do my best to slow it down for you, one the Egypt in the verse is not literally Egypt because even in the verse you quoted he said he had promised they they would never go back to Egypt as slaves again ( Exodus 14:13-14 ) so if this verse is taking about literally Egypt God would be a promise breaker which we can both agree he’s not. So that means Egypt here from the Israelites perspective must represent something figurative or spiritual. Now the question you probably are asking is, is there any else in the Bible where the word Egypt was used but it wasn’t talking about the literal Egypt? The answer is yes, Hosea 8:11-13 - Israel has built many altars to take away sin, but these very altars became places for sinning! 12Even though I gave them all my laws, they act as if those laws don’t apply to them. 13The people love to offer sacrifices to me, feasting on the meat, but I do not accept their sacrifices. I will hold my people accountable for their sins, and I will punish them. They will return to Egypt. 14Israel has forgotten its Maker and built great palaces, and Judah has fortified its cities. Therefore, I will send down fire on their cities and will burn up their fortresses We see in this verse that Hosea tell Israel that they would return to Egypt for their idolatry but every biblical scholar or reader knows that Hosea was one of the mean prophets that prophecy of the ASSYRIAN captivity and that him using Egypt here was the illiterate the type of slavery that Israelites were going to experience under the Assyrians not that they were literally going into Egypt. Another place where Egypt is use but not literally is from the mouth of Christ in revelation 11:7-8 7When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. 8And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also [c]our Lord was crucified. The part of them selling themselves as it says in ur translation. That’s still dealing with them literally going into slavery. the phasing is used by god in Isaiah when he was about to punish them by literally putting them in slavery for their sins. It’s a Hebraic expression or exaggeration he’s not being literal that they sold themselves and no body bought them, he’s simply saying they brought this slavery on themselves and he’s going to be the one to redeem/buy/purchase them out just like he purchased ( exodus 15:15-16 )them out of the literal Egypt, not somebody else. Those who rule over them [b]Make them wail,” says the Lord, “And My name is blasphemed continually every day. 6Therefore My people shall know My name; Therefore they shall know in that day That I am He who speaks: ‘Behold, it is I.’ ” So you see God uses the same phasing in Isaiah 52 as in Deu 28:68 where he states that they sold themselves for nothing and them being redeemed with no money is equivalent to them having no buyer, we know they didn’t literally sold themselves for nothing and that it’s just an expression because Isaiah is referring to the Babylonian Captivity in this chapter and no scholar or historian would tell you that the Israelites sold themselves to the Babylonians, thus God is simply saying that due to their sins they have brought that slavery punishment on themselves aka they sold themselves or in mordern times we will say “you’ve played yourself” In conclusion the Egypt is not literally, the verse is a redemption law being iterated but from Gods perspective, and it’s a literal slavery but they aren’t literally selling themselves. It’s actually very poetic in its writing the verse has like 6-7 entendres on the just the word “Egypt” alone.

While it IS true that Paul wrote those things in Romans 2:28-29, he immediately follows up those verses with Romans 3:1-2, which has him write that unto the Jews were committed the oracles of God. “What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.” -Romans 3:1-2 While it’s true that, spiritually, one can only be a spiritual Jew if they believe in the risen Christ, you can’t ignore the physical side of things. Paul didn’t (Romans 3:1-2), and Jesus didn’t either. In fact, the Lord Jesus Christ said this in the very same passage where he tells the Pharisees that they are of their father the Devil (John 8:39-44) says this in John 8:37; “I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.” In verse 37, Jesus is saying he knows that they are Abraham’s seed (physically), but verse 39 is when Jesus says if they were Abraham’s children (spiritually), they would do his works, but they don’t and want Him dead so they are of their (spiritual) father the Devil (verse 44). I have to stress that, spiritually, one can only be spiritually Jewish if they believe the Gospel (the shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ), but we can’t ignore or deny the physical side of Jewness.
