Family and friends might not be coming home for Christmas this year if they are involved in the Hebrew Roots movement. My desire is to help you understand what is happening and why. Hopefully, I can offer some encouragement.

I decided to rewatch this (up at 4am due to insomnia oy!), because it's so interesting & you've put it in such a pleasant setting with the music & the beautiful tree 😊 Coming to think about it, I believe I was influenced by some posts I saw on Facebook a few years ago (account which I have since deleted) to not celebrate Christmas, because it's pagan. The arguments can be compelling if you haven't researched it for yourself & especially if you have a heart to please God. No one was talking about Hebrew Roots in those days & of course the posts don't come with warning labels - things would be a lot easier if they did. Anyway after a couple of years of not celebrating Christmas (& I was in a period of deep grieving anyway - long story - so it was oddly appropriate at the time), I was driving around my new home in the south (I'm originally from California), it was at night & I was probably coming home from seeing a movie or something (which, in my rural area, requires a long drive to a major city) &, despite myself, enjoying all the light displays that had been put up on houses & around small family farms & I was like: "Oh Lord, how can it be wrong to celebrate Your birth with all this light & beauty?" And I was thinking, as it was getting very cold (way colder than I'm used to from California! ) & it's dark in the country without street lights, how dull, dark & depressing it would be to go through an entire dreary leafless winter without the wonderful celebration of Christmas to cheer us up & bring light into the world... Anyway, it was that long drive home at night, alone with my thoughts & God, that I felt like God was gently telling me it was OK to celebrate Christmas. What a relief to my heart that was. Such a beautiful holiday & so sad that so much angst has been brought to bear against it. I never went into Hebrew roots per se, but now knowing what I know from watching Dr. Solberg's channel, I do believe I was subtly influenced by it for a time 😢 but PTL I am now free & can see what it is & where it's coming from. 🙌

R.L. Solberg is one of my favorite teachers. His book is as wonderful as his videos…. Thank you so much for your channel….You have a very clear way of explaining and reminding us to keep our eyes on Jesus. That way we won’t get swept away with every wind of doctrine. God bless you.😊🙏🏽🌷

I am not Hebrew Roots. Although I do not celebrate christmas, I enjoy decorating my home with the beautiful colors of silver and cold during the winter. I do not judge those that celebrate that day in fact many times it has been an opportunity to reach the lost during that season. I was wondering why all religions throughout the world celebrate christmas without having a relationship with Christ? Satanist celebrate Sol Invictus on December 25th. Maybe celebrate Christ birth on another day? Why pick December 25th? I would research Jim Staley, December 25th on Trial. It is always good to continue our journey in being a barean. I do appreciate you explaining what you believe. May the Lord continue to lead and guide you.

When the Law of God is written upon your heart it becomes a natural part of your character and you cannot break it. Therefore it is the perfect Law of Liberty. Not the letter of the Law of Moses but the Law of God in spirit. This is internal Law. Whereas the Law of Moses is external Law. All external Law is at enmity with the flesh and you can never keep it. It is also at enmity with internal Law. Once internal Law is given external Law must be done away with. Because of the enmity. The Law of Moses is losing it's sovereignty. And internal Law is waxing strong. But it is a process to avoid chaos. Blessings and peace to you!!

What if it is your husband? I have given up so much about Christmas, but I cannot say I have a willing heart....I have a broken and even resentful heart. I want to cry thinking of all the Christmas celebrations we have not had and my children have missed out on. This has probably been the one single thing that has hurt me so bad.... Yahweh has been faithful though and He has comforted, refined and showed me how His grace is sufficient. ❤

. This is just bazaar. You are denouncing the hebrew roots movement yet you are partaking in their gateway drug, the desecration of the very name of Jesus Christ. 😢

If you even remotely understand the Bible you would understand why there are no more actual sacrifices, because Yeshua was the final Sacrifice! 😢

Would you equate Messianic Judaism with Hebrew Roots? My initial look into these theologies is that the Messianic Jews, while holding various degrees of commitment to Torah observance and suspicion of "Santa Claus Christians" , don't seem to approach it with as much of "a chip on their shoulders". It looks, to me, that the trip wire in the movement is reached when an attitude of self righteousness and contempt for those on the outside of the movement replaces love and respect.

Hi @3Timothy! I do not automatically equate the two. Messianic Judaism, from what I understand, are Jews who have accepted Christ as their savior and are not Christians, but they hold to the beautiful traditions of their ancestry. They now see these traditions as the shadows that pointed to Christ all along and worship Him in their traditions. Where I caution others now is that there are Hebrew Roots followers that are calling themselves Messianic Jews, but are holding to the lawful or obedience requirements of the traditions. These are not true Messianic Hews.

My thing with this group is? If christianity is so wrong than why did saw persecute Christians in Antioch? What we’re Christian’s doing too be killed if they wasn’t bothering anyone? That’s what o wondered when o heard some people from this group say don’t calm yourself a Christian that’s contradicting don’t you think after reading in the Bible saw persecuted Christian’s and even Jesus

There is sooooo much more to the reasons that Christmas is PAGAN HOLIDAY,you are leaving out the actual HISTORY and ROots of the origins of Christmas, Easter ect. Just wow!! What does Christmas have to do with Jesus? Anyone can easily look up where the Roman empire came up with Dec 25th! You can't worship 2 masters.😢Dec. 25 is not the date mentioned in the Bible as the day of Jesus's birth; the Bible is actually silent on the day or the time of year when Mary was said to have given birth to him in Bethlehem. The earliest Christians did not celebrate his birth.

what you're doing is a form of legalism using study of non-scripture (history books that can be real or false even but anyways...) to force behaviors unto potentially faithful people. As Paul said the day chosen to give thanks and make it sacred is UP TO people if they BESTOW IT WITH CHRISTIAN WORSHIP IT *IS* SACRED and YOU SPEAK FROM SATANISM in yet another form! Be blessed

I hate to correct you, but if you are going to say that Christmas and Easter are of Pagan origins then I'm afraid that you are factually incorrect.
@missdebbie6791

You are 💯 % correct about Christmas and Easter being pagan. The young lady hosting this channel is like the seed that was planted but had no roots. Scripture tells us just how loved traditions are by people. Some just can't give them up. Me, my husband, youngest son and children have thankfully discovered the truth in scripture. We do not embrace Jewish traditions, but we do follow the Word over the world. All of His appointed times, including Sabbath, are found using His lights as directed in Genesis 1. Pulling away from the world and its ways can be difficult, but we are told to endure to the end. And yes, Yeshuah is our king of kings, but not to be worshipped. As Yeshuah Himself said, only One is good and that is the Father Yahweh. I wish you all the best in your study of the Word.
