1. You can refer the paper published in or near your study area 2. Initially input values within valid range of variable and after few simulation, values of variable start getting adjusted

From where did you bring the back ground map? how to bring or create background map for our catchment ???
@JustLearnCivil5 жыл бұрын
Create Catchment area in GIS software like ArcGis, Qgis, etc. Then save it as shape file and import background image from Menu - View > background maps. This is 4th tutorial. Refer to the third tutorial for importing whole hec hms project from hec geo hms along with the background maps - kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKWrYoyqZq-fhpI For creating background maps along with whole hec hms project in arcgis using hec geo hms refer to second tutorial - kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHO6Z3qrjriEjNE

is it possible to simulate without observed data ?
@JustLearnCivil4 жыл бұрын
Yes. But you cannot calibrate or validate your result. If you get error with empty observed data then you can put random (dummy) data and you will get simulation result but you won't get efficiency like NSE.

how to procede validation in hec_hms
@JustLearnCivil5 жыл бұрын
During validation, only run the model (without needing to calibrate) and the observed data will be of validation period.
