List of biomes/events that don’t have bosses (not including underground and forest): Hallow, Space, Snow, Dungeon (technically, Skeletron is an overworld boss), Frost Legion, Blood Moon (but it will in Journey’s End), and Goblin Army (unless you consider the Goblin Summoner a boss, but I say it’s a miniboss). I probably missed one or two :/

If you can manually spread corruption, and there are Demon Altars still in the world, you CAN fight Eater of Worlds by making a Corruption biome, and farming Vile Shrooms and Rotten Chunks for the summon. It'll be useful for getting the Worm Scarf too, adding much needed survivability considering your... Enormous Health bar. You'll ALSO need to do it if you want any method of getting Souls of Night, and by proxy like 90% of the Hardmode equipment.
