CC26: Car Part, Engine Part, Integration Part

It's been a longstanding belief here at Heeltoe that car parts and engine parts are mutually exclusive. The simple fact that so many engine swaps exist makes this true. So even though parts manufacturers like to label an item for a car, because that is the industry standard, Heeltoe does not.
A customer selecting a car on the Heeltoe platform is also choosing an engine. This gives us the power to serve the customer-specific car and engine parts that match their build and reduces the need to do funky filtering to get to the part they need, even if they have an engine swap.
Something only Heeltoe does, because we are in the business of making your shopping experience as specialized and personal as your car is to you.

Great discussion Marcus. This has always been an problem and leads to the age old meme of going into a shop and asking for an engine part and the guy behind the counter asks if it has a rear wiper. At least Honda is fairly good at not doing weird mid-year changes, bety the downside is that they share parts across is many models and things can be swapped over easily, and it's not just engine/transmission related. It brings up questions like 'What sway bar bushings should i use for an EG with an ITR rear sway' What bushings should I use on an LS Integra with ITR trailing arms. Like you said we end up relying on tribal knowledge of the internet, some of which is 15-20+ years old and on old server or has been lost over the years. The amount of tribal knowledge needed when I worked for an import parts distributor in the 90s was ridiculous
