@19:55 - I had the honor of meeting Sonakshi Sinha’s father, Shatrugan Sinha, when I was 13. I performed a dance on stage for an Independence Day function in chicago. He was visiting. I had zero clue. My mother just told me after I performed coz even she didn’t know he was the chief guest. We didn’t get to take a photo with him. Later we tried and I remember kinda trying running with the crowd behind his car because my mother told me go take a pic with him. Maybe he heard and saw what I went thru. I don’t know. His car drove away with his crew and then a miracle his car started coming back. We were like wait what?! Shatrugan Sinha came back. Walked straight up to me. Invited me and my entire family for a picture. And took picture with us. He also said beautiful compliments about the dance I did. The. He left. I just remember him being an absolutely caring, wonderful, family man. Now I look back and think it must have been his love for his daughter Sonakshi and his own family that made him come back and treat me and my sister and my family so good. From running behind his car, him coming back, to taking pictures with him, and receiving such beautiful verbal compliments, encouragement, praise, and hope from him. He elevated me that day after seeing my struggle. Sonakshi Sinha’s father Shatrugan Sinha is an incredible human being, I know she is too, and all these ladies are. May God bless them 🙏❤️. Thank u for the gift to my psyche Mr. Shatrugan Sinha .. maybe he saw and heard my mother scolding me and decided to turn back around and make it right. Now, that has made a big difference for me. Thank u. 🙏❤️

Why are the these incredible artists still treated like they are second class in their profession? The questions are dumbed down, the NDTV titles on the bottom of the screen are unthoughtful and irrelevant. The interviewer didn't once refer to any of the amazing films that the artists have done (outside of the masala junk). It's only Ms. Chadda that mentioned "Lootera" which was timeless film with Ms. Sinha as the lead. She was incredible in it, even better than this series. Ms. Hydari is such a beautiful and smart woman. She is answering dumbed down questions with wisdom beyond her years. Really, can NDTV find an interviewer who is younger or perhaps has a better grasp on the evolution of Indian women. They are all amazing...I hope to see more of them in real art instead of the usual stuff that comes out of the industry.

It seems like Sanjay ne apni budsurrat neice ko promote kerne ke liya Netflix ko loot liya hai. Pakistani regions were part of British created India for less than 100 years, in its over 5000 years of history. Under which all regions under British rule were hallucinated as one ancient Bharat that never existed. lol. Do not agree with Aditi addressing exploitation in a way that it is at the woman's behest. Absolutely not, sometimes a person has no choice, they are dealing with other issues and traumas and this advantage seeker just makes use of that weak moment and exploits. So exploitation can be manifested in many ways and often times the person exploited doesn't even know they're being used until much later. And NO this doesn't make a person a lesser human being like Aditi puts it.

Heeramindi history was not written properly. Looking at history all the heeramindi prostitute were Muslims. Freedom fight was for free India. But all Muslim women were fighting for India. And holding Indian flag. This not true. Heeramindi stayed In Lahore even after partition. So that is wrong information. History is different than the movie.
