🔴 I love seeing this little girl so much as she is happy after she takes out that garbage called "shoes" and then she runs through the green and fresh grass ... That's how I was in my childhood in the mountain village, where lived my good grandparents (early 60's). I still have the same pleasure now, at the beginning of my retirement (after 37 years of working as a pharmacist). Thank you very much for this wonderful gift (this movie). I'm confused. I thought the woman was Heidi's aunt. She called Heidi's grandpa "uncle" which would mean she is Heidi's first cousin, once removed. Not aunt.

I have European cousins and though I subscribe to the English model and refer to my cousin's kids, etc as 'cousin', they use a different nomenclature and refer to me as 'uncle'. Unless you're a first cousin, you're an uncle. But as I don't have any second cousins, I can only assume my second cousin would call me 'cousin' and their offspring do the same, that is, 'uncle'.

The Heidi movie from the 1950s is far better then this one, their are a number of mistakes in this film an example is that the goat shed is actually attached to the cabin in the original print of the Heidi book and many more
