People have absolutely no idea how tall a genuine 6`1 person is, especially as most of the time you meet them in shoes. A strong 6`1 person who works out and athletic can look huge and certainly towers over most people, that`s the fact!

Extremely accurate comment. A barefoot, relaxed posture 6'1 guy is taller than you think. And considerably taller than most men. Largely to do with the fact that most people lie, so there is a misunderstanding as to what 6' actually looks.

6'1 is 185.3 cm. he has shoes but keep in mind he also doesn't have his morning height there (through the day you usually lose between 1.2 - 1.6 cm). So not counting shoes, I'd say he's in between 182.5 - 185.3 cm. So averaging between the two, my guess of his height is 183.9 cm, or just under 6'0" 1/2.

Rob, I have been following you since your site showed up. Under a few different names I pushed you to increase Rick Springfield's height for many years. I also demanded that Stallone be reduced to 5' 6 7/8" - 5' 7" . In 2022 I still believe that Tom Cruise would edge out Stallone! Howdy from Texas where people are always taller.

@@bonk4225 Ah, okay! I enjoy that site & view it every so often. Hoping to do some acting eventually, I occasionally check it out to see the latest heights of actors. I've found that some of the listed heights are a bit more than what some celebs actually are. I met an actor (who I'm a HUGE fan of), at the Big Apple Con here in NYC a few years ago, who's listed at 6 feet tall. I'm 6'1" & he was clearly no more than 5'8". But it didn't matter, as I got to meet a childhood idol. But as you said, some stars can be "lowballed" height-wise on the site; but I see just as many who receive generous height "enhancements" from the site. But I enjoy visiting it either way, as it's so much fun to check out.

Depending on how tall David Beckham really is, Gordon has to be somewhere between 6 1/4 an 6‘1. My guess is 6‘1 even, because Beckham often looks in the 5‘11.5 range to me and there are so many pictures of those two standing very straight together. If my judgement is full off and Beckham is only a weak 5‘11, Gordon can be no more than 6 3/8.

I'm not Rob but I can tell you I was around 5'3 when I was 15 and shorter than all the guys and lots of the girls but I grew quickly and by 17 I was standing a hair under 6'2 which is where I'm at now at 32. It's hard to say where you'll land, it's a combination of genetics, good diet, rest, and stretching exercises certainly don't hurt. Swimming is supposed to be really good too. It's possible to grow slightly even past 20, so you could gain nothing or you could gain another 2-10 inches by then, you must patiently wait to find out!

I grew to 5ft 11 at 15yrs and never grew again, my son was 6ft at 15yrs and like me hasn’t grew a millimetre, a lad I went to school with was 5ft 7 at 16, skinny lad, we left and I never seen him till he was around 22yrs, he called my name and just stood stirring at me...he was a monster 6ft 4 and built like a rugby player...eat healthy and do some exercise and hope for the best.

Around 6' 1", that's interesting, as normally when I see him on tv he's often the tallest person on screen. I had always considered him defiantly over 6' 2", possibly as much as a tad over 6' 3". I guess it shows that camera angles and posture, are all important when judging a persons height........Just a thought, would even a naturally tall chap like him, be tempted to use lifts on certain shows, just to add to the intimidation?

I’m literally 4-5 inches taller than my brother who went to the doctor and was listed as 5 foot 9, but the tape measure against the wall method only listed as 5 foot 11 for me. Something wrong, hell, even the doors at Walmart clearly show a 4-5 inch height difference.

Check ur eyelevel, if it’s a 4-5 inch difference then ur eyes should be at or slightly higher than the top of his head. If it’s just a 2 inch difference then ur eyes are inline with the middle of his forehead.

Here it depends greatly on the footwear, I think... If you are measured at 6´1.5, with normal shoes (let´s say around 2 cms or almost one inch thick) then you should be a bit over that mark, barefoot.
