I agree with you. I know some people are happy to listen to what gets played on mainstream radio (perhaps because, to them, it's just background music), but the world needs alternative music and alternative art. The more people we have out there playing and representing the music of bands like this, the better. The good thing is, I reckon bands like Heilung will make a long-standing career out of playing music, rather than being a one-hit wonder and then vanishing within three years. Other bands have done that, and got the rewards they deserve for it. Meshuggah is one such example.

Yes absolutely hypnotic good drummer's are hypnotic I used to do drum practice and my misses at the time used to fall asleep with my drumming . Consistency try not to over play the groove. It works for me.

How's the feel that builds as it chuggs along. Great to jam along with and try keep the consistency of the rhythm without spoiling it ,and we don't have to play very much at all in order for it to work . Find a sticking pattern that is compatible with the chant that your playing , it's off its face it's just so in perfect timing. She's got very good and amazing timing . They all do ,I must say and aspecily when the tribesman get on stage with the spears and thump the floor of the stage. I'm not surprised that they would sound like they're going through the stage floor into the orchestra pit under the stage .
