Nice technique! I ended up getting the pins into the backspring then compressing the tuning fork with some pliers to get the blade back on. Seemed to work OK too.

Thanks ! Ahhh another great way round it 👌🏼🤘🏼! I’m ocd so would have to have taped up my pliers teeth and then done that for no scratches as I’m not that delicate with that tool 👀😂. Thanks for watching 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼!!

@@BladedArticles I actually uploaded a video of me doing this and yes - I DID put some tape on the pliers!!! You have got to avoid scratches on those hidden internal parts - LOL!

Curious as to know why there is a little hole drilled between the pivot and opening hole. Looks a bit like a detent ball hole. Zipslip has a similar backspring set up. All good stuff. Happy Days.

Was considering one of these until HOO Knives came on the scene Both great knives but…….I only have a limited budget

I totally understand that ! To be honest though I feel the V1 clinches it with the materials and I like a bit of weight on my knives. There are more pros on the V1 compared to the UKPK in my opinion. Our Vid for the V1 drops tomorrow (Tuesday the 2nd btw) Thanks for watching and commenting !
