Unpopular opinion:: I always thought that this was a “good spin” on the devil falling to earth and tempting woman and man. Beautiful being. Music. @ he never really did anything to help the pastor that he was “assigned” to. His presence assisted in chaos that created correction. God isn’t the author of confusion. He was a beautiful distraction and I feel that through her singing secular music, in the club, where romantic ties are involved.. puts Julia in a position of weakness. A feeling her husband wasn’t giving. He gave her a brand new “eye” into what life could be like or what it would be if she chose a different path. It’s subtle but also.. a blk momma knows! She sholl told her to watch out; maybe a spiritual sense of familiarity.

This movie was like Coming To America meets Waiting To Exhale due to majority of the cast being in both movies. Carmen A Hip Hopera is hot garbage 🗑️ & comes the fun facts: Courtney B. Vance & Jenifer Lewis were also in Panther, Denzel Washington & Jenifer Lewis were also in Antwone Fisher, Jenifer Lewis is only a year older than Angela Bassett & they were also in Meets The Browns as sisters after being Mother & Daughter in What’s Love Got To Do With It. Angela Bassett directed The Whitney Houston biopic that aired on Lifetime. Next year during the holiday season can you guys break down the following movies: The Kid Who Loved Christmas Bad Santa Bad Santa 2 Last Holiday The Perfect Holiday This Christmas Almost Christmas Meet Me Next Christmas Best Christmas Ever
