In the words of Claire, Stop it!!! Absolutely adorable!! The colors and sparkle of the resin, is perfection!!! The only way I’ve ever sealed anything, is with packing tape, but then, you have to seal both sides and you’d lose the adhesive… I still think it looks good..

This is so adorable. I actually asked the Washi tape person if the paper could be added to resin without sealing it and they said yes. It doesn’t look bad, I wouldn’t seal mine either. I love this washi tape.

Girl that tray was so stunning on its own but with those cute animals it's just incredible now I don't think sealing your tape would work because you can't seal the backs it already has adhesive on it but i could be wrong the adhesive may work as a sealant and lock that white in but I love it just as it is. I do wish they cut closer to the design though. That's with all washi tapes it seems.. great job id love to see these colors again with 3 more (dark blue, dark green, light green) I love that greyish blue green moody Christmas theme and those are my colors this year!! It just has my heart!!

This is so cute, and the frosty background is spot on! I've never used washitape in resin, but I have used plain printed paper, and that needs to be sealed all over to avoid seepage. I don't know if you can do that with the sticky surface of the tape, unless you use whatever you are using to first put a layer on resin, then the tape, then more sealant, then the next layer of resin. I'd love to see how these tapes work on ecoresin, since you've done videos with printed paper, and it almost blended with the resin. I imagine the tape would work just as well.

Claire. This is so beautiful. Actually the way the paper looks it made it look like Fur. But yeah, I think maybe these would need to be sealed first because they are so thin. But I don't see how you'll get them off of the sheet if you do that without having to cut them out.

Hi Claire, sorry you weren’t able to join the live 😳. You were missed. Love how this turned out and the washi tape was perfect despite absorbing the moisture. It added to the effect. I have a powder which looks identical to the one no longer available and gives a beautiful sparkly effect. Just not sure whether I’m allowed to mention the brand on here, would hate to break any rules. Petra uses it a lot. Let me know if it’s allowed to mention it. Bet you were spitting feathers with your laptop problem!

To be honest I don’t know why but I don’t mind the white border, it doesn’t bother me when usually I would be so annoyed by it. I think it’s very cute and Christmasy
