This sounds like it would be a perfect plot for a horror movie about a strange girl and a bewitched radio. I think this would be the full plot. Even though it's a reference to the second verse, the first scene would probably be Angie in her room, listening to her radio, and dancing with someone. Then they would show her daddy outside her room tapping on her door, entering the room, and asking if she's alright, and telling her to go to bed. But he, and Angie would be the only people in the room. The person she was dancing with would be gone. (And you might hear a little scary music, which would make you a little suspicious that something weird was going on.) Lovers appear in your room each night And they whirl you across the floor But they always seem to fade away When your daddy taps on your door Angie girl, are you alright? Tell the radio goodnight All alone once more, Angie baby The next scene would be a reference to the first verse. (Angie's parents talking about how she can't go to school, and make friends.) You live your life in the songs you hear On the rock n' roll radio And when a young girl doesn't have any friends That's a really nice place to go Folks hoping you'd turn out cool But they had to take you out of school You're a little touched, you know, Angie baby The next scene would be about the evil boy entering the room, intending to hurt Angie. Stopping at her house is a neighbor boy With evil on his mind 'Cause he's been peeking in Angie's room At the night through her window blind I see your folks have gone away Would you dance with me today? I'll show you how to have a good time, Angie baby Then they would show the radio with a strange glow, and then the boy would suddenly become a victim of the radio. (You would think he was the first victim. And that's when you would know it's a horror movie.) When he walks in her room he feels confused Like he walked into a play And the music's so loud it spins him around 'Til his soul has lost its way And as she turns the volume down He's getting smaller with the sound It seems to pull him off the ground Toward the radio he's bound Never to be found disappearance, and wondering what happened to him, not knowing about the radio, and what it did. The headlines read that a boy disappeared And everyone thinks he died After that, more and more people would enter Angie's room, and become victims of the radio. (And, like I said, somehow, everyone except for her family would become victims.) Then eventually her daddy would see someone enter Angie's room. Then he would enter the room, just in time to witness the person becoming a victim. (I could be wrong, but I think this would happen more than once, because he would eventually know the radio was what caused the people's disappearances, and he would warn people not to enter Angie's room. He would tell them that she's crazy. ("It's so nice to be insane") He would tell them, that she has a radio, and that she somehow gave it the power to cause people to disappear. I don't know what would happen after he warned everyone, but the movie would end with him somehow destroying the radio, and everything would be the way it was before Angie got the radio. (a happy ending of a horror movie)
@zxyatiywariii83 жыл бұрын
I like most of your idea except NOT the ending. That wouldn't be a happy ending, it would be a tragic ending. Because I wish there really WAS a magic radio where I could entrap rapists so they couldn't hurt anyone ever again. That would be an amazing way to make the whole world a better place! Btw there's a movie based on this song on the channel Morrismovies.
@nbuehster2 жыл бұрын
@@zxyatiywariii8 Why would it be a tragic ending? The only person who wouldn't be happy would be Angie, because her radio would be gone. Everybody else would be able to enter, and leave, her room alive.

Good plot for a horror movie. Instead of just getting smaller, Angie chops him up in little pieces, that's how he got smaller. Angie's buries him in the back woods where we see the bones of past creeper peppers Angie caught peeping. Cuz that's what the radio told her to do. The radio got its blood sacrifice and Angie fades to black with a smile in her lips.

That was an interesting mix. It reminds me of the mix of Thriller used for the Michael Jackson music video. They removed all instances of the chorus so that the first part of the video can focus on something that seems more like it’s driving a story and keeping a consistent mood. On your thoughts about removing the video from your KZbin channel - I can’t see why you would remove it even if it has static, since it’s one of a kind and hasn’t been replaced. But if you made a cleaner version, I would actually download it and add it to my MP3 mix. Someone was hoping for another verse, which I guess I myself was curious about as well, but I don’t see where you personally could possibly add another verse to your mix, since such a thing doesn’t exist. Also it would kind of kill the point of the song if someone added some story about “Angie actually killed the boy and left him by the river side but now she thinks he’s in the radio, “or “The boy took advantage of Angie and traumatized her and she invented the part about the radio,” or even “Yes folks, Angie actually has magical powers, and she really did pull the boy into the radio,” etc. :-o

It's a fantasy song literally no meaning behind it whatsoever it's like a fictional story. You could say it's like female empowerment when she diminishes the guy by trapping him in the radio and using him for her own pleasure 🤷♀️
@zxyatiywariii83 жыл бұрын
There's a movie version on the channel Morrismovies. I envision it as being the story of a girl who finds a magical way to get rid of a neighborhood rapists by trapping their souls in her radio (kinda like in a Twilight Zone episode) but no one besides her knows she has this power. And once they've been trapped, SHE can force THEM to do whatever she wants -- and she wants them to dance with her -- and they can't hurt her or anyone else because now they've been made safe. . . like who they would have been if they weren't evil. I'm not a feminist woman at all; but I do love the way this song is about someone who SEEMS small and powerless like I was when I was little, but who finds a way to fight back against evil. So in the end, she makes her neighborhood so much safer for other girls.

Are you all thick as planks ? She didn't do him in. She did to him what he intended to do to her and locked him away for as long as it suited - who knows - maybe he did starve to death from bonking and not eating enough energy. Karma's a bitch.
