To be exact, I’ve been sick of being chosen last. Last as compared to his kids, his sisters, his own priorities. So I walked away. Best thing I ever did! The upset is never worth it!!! I know I’m worth the wait, so he was the wrong guy. The right man will prioritize me and treat me like his queen. Always coming last is never the right place to be.

The beginning of any situation means putting your best foot forward. If something doesn’t feel right initially, I just tell them, “I wish you the best in your search”. This happened recently with someone that could not answer basic questions and continues to lurk my online profile. Is he too scared?? then he’s not ready. Too busy? Then he’s not ready. I don’t settle for less than I give. I don’t accept breadcrumbs. I know how to be happy alone. I have a good life. He either potentiates my life or I walk. I don’t explain and I don’t excuse “less than” behavior early on! I silently send them love and light and then literally wish them well in their search.

It's crazy how important it is for the man to put forth more effort. If we bend over backwards to make it "easy" for him, he will value us less. We can give men the "green light" to pursue us, but then they need to feel like its a challenge to win us. We are all valuable and worthy of love. Men need to pursue and earn our love, and we need to be soft and receive the energy that he's putting forth, only if our intuition is telling us that it is safe to do so. ❤ Confidence in both men and women is so attractive. 🔥

But are we all meant to be confident, aren't we supposed to accept each other as they really are rather than e.g. try to fake confidence if one can't help lacking it/less? Some ppl are more confident than others some are not at all. And I know a couple with a relationship that I think is almost the perfect I have observed in all the relationships of close family and friends but the lady said she was not confident at all when she met her husband and also they are really opposite one is sociable the other isn't and prefers to stay at home.

Great advice and I’ve followed many of your tips. So thank you. One thing that I hear from my other girlfriends who are a bit older like myself, and looking for a second chance at love after divorce and if. a long marriage, is it that if you’re with the right person- it should be easy. The big fights or having to beg for someone to spend time with you, will not part of the relationship. You won’t be crying when you’re with the right person., so that’s where I draw the line now, it won’t be perfect but it surely won’t be lonely and having to accept bad behavior.

Told him once “I miss the communication from the start of our relationship. Should I get used to this new phase of less communication?” He said no, and that things will turn to normal and he is sorry. Now patiently waiting for progress in his behavior. So far, same ol’ pattern. Willing to walk away soon if by my deadline things don’t improve. Hopefully he will either realize I am not playing or will show me he is unwilling and I would have been wasting my time.
@Braveh3artGirl Жыл бұрын
Start pulling your energy off him before you walk away He will crap his pants lol 😂 trust me. Start now and then walk if it continues by your deadline
@anitarogers2877 Жыл бұрын
@eliza7ioana - Sorry but I very much doubt he will change. You have spoken about it and he still reverted to the pattern you are unhappy with. If he is being like that with you, in his mind he's not that serious about you, as uncomfortable as that is. I experienced something similar and he never changed. The guys in this world - so many are really busy with their job. They have limited personal life time so they are lazy when it comes to romance and dating. They want an easy life, believing they are the prize, not us, and that they can afford to be with who they want. If I were you, don't hold your breath. If you walk away and he then reaches out in a week or so apologising and wanting another chance, if you agree, I feel he will just return to how he has been with you.
@BeeRejuvenatedStudio Жыл бұрын
Definitely. He would already have shown you the minute you expressed this. It’s not rocket science in his eyes and he already senses from your energy that your waiting for progress. He thinks you’re not serious about walking away and knows he still has access to you. He will also know he has access to you when you walk and he comes back in a week or two or whenever and you answer him in hopes he’s changed when really he’s only coming back to see where you’re at and if he still had access to you. Let your actions be his answer.

What about Dismissive avoidant ex who you’ve reconnected with. In a monogamous relationship but taking it slow as far as enmeshing our lives outside our long intense dedicated weekends together. We put our phones away and give each other total focus for those days, but on the other ones we prefer our own space and not to be constantly texting and calling each other since we both are workaholics. We communicate clearly, warmly and directly when it’s pertinent. I’m very happy but others are saying he’s taking advantage, but they don’t see his myriad of affectionate gestures and acts of service, words of affirmation and encouragement, and sharing of privileged information.

@@danilaroche1156 he is marriage minded, we’ve discussed it. We both want marriage and children. I think I’m just psyching Myself out because it’s not that his words don’t match his actions, his actions are telling me that this isn’t casual (discussing freezing embryos, planning events a month in advance, matching Halloween costumes) but I know that in the past when I said “where is this going” too soon it put him into a tailspin because of his own personal trauma (his ltr ex that he proposed to turned him down, and the one after me was violent) so I’m just enjoying getting to know him again since we’ve a) both changed since then and b) right person, worst timing imaginable when we first got together. We’re both just being cautious because we see red flags when anyone is more concerned about the commitment than the actual “relating” part of the relationship.

I do not say this out of bitterness but from what I have seen; time and time again. Besides,.there is a ton of bad, crazy, relationship advice given for men .But you are a Queen and an Angel. hmmmm... looking weak. I didn't want to tell my guy that I didn't have the financial funding to do something he wanted because I thought he would see me as weak & incompetent at taking care of myself. I also didn't want him to do anything to try to fix it, that's in his nature.

Ibthink a hige reason i donall these is because my dad told me no one would ever love me becauae i am so unlovable so i overcompensate trying to prove to anyone that i am lovable. Needless to say it bites me in the rear every single time.
