Helene leaves widespread damage in parts of North Carolina: Gov. Cooper

The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado touched down in Rocky Mount Friday afternoon. Emergency responders say 15 people were injured, four were seriously and 14 buildings were heavily damaged. During his morning media briefing, Governor Cooper said there were 2 confirmed storm-related deaths in North Carolina.
