Helga Myhr - Moreguten, springar (hardingfele / hardanger fiddle)

Taken from the digital compilation "Being for the Benefit of Kafé Hærverk!", an 8-hour comp in support of the coolest bar/club in Oslo, from the lame 2020+ period when decent places to see live music suffered quite a bit. Released in January 2021 (I bought the comp at the time and am assuming it's alright to publish something from it years later, but if the artist or Kafé Hærverk wants it taken down I will of course comply). To my knowledge, this track has never been issued elsewhere.
"Moreguten" (meaning "the More-boy") is named after fiddler Ola Knutsson Granhagen Morehaugen, who lived from 1824 to 1873.

I didn't immediately like this but i grew on me really fast. The tuning sounds great and how she plays is great too, I really like how she ends the peice Its kinda bitter sweet.
