It happened in Italy. There was a guy in a lake that was doing an excursion under the water and a plane took him in his bomb bay as it was refilling water. He got released on some tree branches where he got stuck. Then they found him with no serious injury because he had an oxigen tank that helped him against the smoke. Sorry for bad english. Gad Va, I responded to a call this spring to set up a helicopter landing zone on one of the softball fields at the town high school, and I can tell you that even the Dauphin is loud. All three schools (elementary, middle, and high school) are in one area, and my younger daughter (who was in fifth grade at the time) complained to me when she got home because the helicopter had "buzzed" the elementary school when they were on final approach to the field and it had disturbed the testing going on in her class at that moment! I just told her to get used to it.

In Australia this is fairly common in summer. Most parks construct an artificial lake for this very use. Also, the helicopters are much larger, so it's a pretty cool sight to see five or more rotate out from a park lake to fight a fire threatening a suburb. I used to stand on my roof to watch the water bomber dumping water on an orange horizon...good times.
