I'd love to have my TS in the FX loop like that, but it brings a lot of noise (Even with the pedal off). Unless my HX Stomp is faulty, its AD converters aren't great.

Could you please tell me how to do that with HX effects? on the unit ( I don't use editor) the manual is brief and vague, I thought I had it figured out then just got repetitive noise , sometimes I wish I just kept the M-13 . :) thanks - billy

I’ve looked everywhere and just can’t seem to find the answer to my question. Is the equivalent to putting effects in the fx loop of a traditional amp just placing effects AFTER the amp block in the signal chain? Did I miss a video on this? Thank you for your help!

Carlos, not sure if you found your answer but I stumbled upon a random Helix user a while back and they explained like this: putting a effects block in-between your amp and cab is essentially like using an effects loop in an actual amp. I did try this, and yes it works, it cleans up the effects, but at least for me, I found i like the sound of the effects if i place the blocks before the amp sim. I hope this helps!

@@DravenZord I figured but I just wanted to make sure! I appreciate it! I’ve also put some blocks after the speaker cab too and tried that out. Didn’t hear much of a difference. I’ll make a video on it so people like us don’t have to go searching everywhere!

@@CarlosWadeMusic that's cool man. I haven't tried placing them after the cab myself. honestly I only had my Helix LT since November so I have A LOT to learn. I'm coming off using a "Live" Rivera with my board running into it. I used a Boss MS-3 which controlled my channel switch on the Rivera and multiple single effects as well as the on board boss stuff on MS3. the helix sounds and controls waaaayyy different so I have a bit of a learning curve. I'm not very tech savvy so I stayed "analog" (using the term loosely) for the longest time. I tell you what though, the travel/set up/breakdown time was cut down 99% after the helix switch though ha! stay cool brother!

I use my helix to control several different external pedals but it is very noisy.
