Awesome demo, johnny. that valeton gp-100 sounds killer on bass. I like how the bass distortion and the chorus effects sound. the flanger sounds pretty cool, and some of the other drives like the green od and the super od sounded radical on bass.

@@mauriciogouveia6822 I’ve since then purchased a mooer ge200 for my guitar. It has a lot of phenomenal tones. And it works well with bass too. Some of the amp models sounds killer on bass. Other than that, I’d go with the valeton gp-100 for bass.

Finally one that accommodates the 6 string and bass in one box. 😊

I finally got brave enough to gig with this (twice now), it sounds almost as good as my analog pedalboard (I’ve been ampless for years). It’s not as easy to adjust on-the-fly and it doesn’t have a direct-out, but I follow it with an MXR M80, so I can make bass-centric EQ adjustments without getting into a menu. It’s the first digital multi-effects I’ve liked.
@liamjenkins823 жыл бұрын
Hey mate. I'm one of those guys who just plays around with the bass in the garage. Mostly heavy metal kind of stuff. Would you recommend this pedal for that sort of stuff. Direct out isnt something that's going to affect me. Although my amp head has that anyway. Cheers
@greganderson72163 жыл бұрын
@@liamjenkins82 I’ve never tried mine in front of an amp, so the amp/cab sims might “water-down” your amps natural tone (don’t know till you try it), but I think you’ll like it. The Boost pedal (it’s under the pre section) sounds great on bass! Did you say metal? The OD/Distortions sound really good for a digital pedal, and my bass likes that too. I do recommend it.

My hang up with gigging with these types of things is that I don't like fussing with knobs when I'm on stage. Multi-effects are great for getting lots of sounds for cheap, but it looks like you'd be bending over it all the time. I'd definitely like to give one of these a try at some point though.

Valeton can offer cheap instruments because they don’t spent money in research and development. They simply copy the ideas of Boss and Zoom and line 6. so if you buy Valeton and Harley Benton you kill companies that develop new products. And then one day nobody will bring new ideas and live becomes boring.
