I wouldn't worry so much about stuff being German, I don't watch your channel for specifically German tools, I just like seeing non typical stuff that performs better than run of the mill big box stuff. I would be interested in seeing any useful or odd tools you come across. I know a lot of Japanese tools are similar to German ones in that they have high quality fit and finish, and are lesser known. I always look forward to your videos.

I would have used some scrap leather, a rivet gun and an old buckle, myself. I understand that yours is a tool-review rather than a maker channel, but if the right tool aint out there, and you can easily make one...

I know PB Swiss isn't German but... it's a neighbor! and I hear good things about their tools. I'm curious to see how they compare.

A leather shop or shoe repair type place usually can make something like that. Usually those places in a mall or the flea market.

Looks like a great quality sheath that'll last. Although i dont like the look of those peened back rivets they are extremely effective.

No, you're wrong about that Tyler. It's called a "Sharp Thingy" in North America, in Japan it is a "Wo-sjinn na-yamma" (meaning "I just cut my finger!"), while in Turkey it's called a "T'kek Drub'na" (infidel chopper). Hope that helps.
